Hey guys,
Dont know what youre doing to get such phenomenol standby and usage time. Are you really using your iPhones?
I never had such good standby and usage time. iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 are as same. No improvements

Maybe to you, I definitely see an improvement in battery life compared to my 6s. See screenshots above. I used 1.2 GB of data during that cycle. Define what "using your iPhone" means to you.

I'm also seeing the 3-5% drop per hour during standby (even on Airplane mode). Does it seem like Safari is the reason? Maybe an iCloud process constantly trying to sync?

No chance to get something like this. Safar

Unbelievable!!!
I dont get such standby and usage time. Never ever. I can be happy to get 24 hours standby and 4-5 hours usage time.

Literally just plugged my 7 in to charge. I have seen it drop 2 percent in a couple of minutes when only performing light tasks (sending texts, no other apps running) but overall big improvement over my 6. Level of use is the same and my 6 would've had to be charged at work.

I think I'm getting pretty good battery life.

I just picked up a 7, today. battery dropped from 85% to 48% within a half hour of just downloading apps. my 7 Plus barely dropped 8% for the same apps. but I do feel the 7 Plus wasn't as good as my 6s Plus - battery times were great on that from the getgo. we'll see how they both do after a month.

I thought mine was like the 6s. But it's been currently off the charger since 8am and still at 28%! It's 1042pm here now!! Definitely has improved within a week!

After charging my 7 plus it won't show any usage and standby. It's just blank. Rebooted my phone without any issues and still have the same issues. Any help.

I have an iP7 with 10.0.2 and getting horrible battery life since day 1. I restored from backup on release day so there's no way that there is any additional restoring being done almost 2 weeks afterwards.

With previous iPhones, last one being the 6S, I typically went to bed with 30%+ left. Now I'm seeing down to 35% or so at the end of my work day. And, as a matter of fact, this is with less than typical usage compared to when I had my 6S due to me noticing the battery doesn't last as long for me.

I've upgraded to the newest iPhone on release day for the past 5-6 years and have ignored the battery threads that get created since I always had great battery life but I'm definitely having a bad experience this year. I thought this phone was supposed to be good with battery due to the lower power cores in the A10.

Hopefully this can get remedied soon with some software updates. As some have mentioned, this might be due to the poor signal I'm getting with the 7 on Verizon, whereas I was getting great signal with the 6S and before.

These are regular 7's?!

How are you guys getting 30+ hours of standby time with 5+ hours of usage on a regular 7? I'm at 28% with 13 hours standby and 3.5 hours of usage. I feel like I should be getting better than that. I'm not using it that heavily, most of the usage time is just from music. I don't use push notifications either...

I would check diagnostics and see if you have an app that is crashing in the background or if you have some other buggy app that is causing issues. The only other way to tell if you have a bad device is to restore as new and not install anything. Use phone for a few days and see if there is an improvement. If so you have an app or apps causing the issue.

Setup as new

I find the iPhone 7 charges really quickly though. Ive had it plugged in to my computer and its gone from 50%-100% in 30 minutes. And thats even though I've used "hey siri" too many times to be considered healthy (just can't keep myself)! :)

If it's going from 50-100% in 30 minutes on a computers USB port, then I would say you have a problem with the battery, or with the way the software is reporting the battery percentage.

It definitely won't actually be charging that quickly.

I agree. That's way too fast.

Actually I think the battery on iPhone 7 is really good. The standby time is as always top notch on iPhones. Over night (8hrs) it only drains 3%.

Really unbeliebable. The users who have Great battery time can you show the whole statistic of battery? I want to see all the apps are listed and how much they are using battery.

Mine is a iPhone 7 Plus 256gb. I've had it since 9/23. The first few time's i charged the battery was horrible. I started looking through post for something that might help. I had a 6s+ before, and when i updated to 10.0.1 instead of having long battery life it turned horrible. I updated a few week's before i purchased the 7+, and when i set up the 7+ i used a back up.
One thing i noticed to try was to Reset Network Setting's. I did, and then i went through all the setting's and made change's to what i thought would help battery life. I don't remember all the change's, but the first night i had the cell i set it on a table in front of me while watching tv. I noticed i was getting one notification after another from FaceBook, and Mail. When i did the reset FB, and mail where the first i went after, and turned off Show on Locked Screen. This way turning on the cell will still show # of notification's for each app.
In my last post i let my battery go down to 19%. I plugged it into a surge protector, and it took exactly 3hrs 5min to recharge to 100%. After that charge till now it seem's the battery life is getting better.

Had another flight yesterday where Airplane mode was on for 5 hours and all apps were closed out. Still lost about 18%. Didn't touch the phone. All battery tests I've done show no wear and that it is in great condition.
