Literally just plugged my 7 in to charge. I have seen it drop 2 percent in a couple of minutes when only performing light tasks (sending texts, no other apps running) but overall big improvement over my 6. Level of use is the same and my 6 would've had to be charged at work.

Bro wow do you have Auto Brightness on?

I love the battery life on this phone so much.

It's 8pm. Was off the charger at 7am. Moderate usage, a ton of safari browsing and some text/snapchat time as well.

57% left, 5 hours usage, 13 hours standby.

I've been averaging 9.5-11 hours of usage per day. My 6s+ was good too, but degraded some over time. Regardless, this phone seems to improve on that battery life some.

Mine is now 1% with 12 hours standby and 6 hours usage. Very bad
[doublepost=1475206297][/doublepost]So no one can say that is normal. That is the reason why i don't really can believe the battery statistics of some users from here. Especially when i compare it with my statistics.

Finally got to actually check how my battery life is going and I love it!

One possibility is that you are in an area with a lot of wifi on and your phone is doing searching all day when you walk across the area. Searching for wifi and cell tower signal is one of the major battery killer that I faced when I visited Asia. Try turn off your wifi when you don't need it and see if your battery imporve...

so this morning, I was using my 7 and Plus equally. 7 dropped 10% in the same amount of usage that the Plus dropped 3%. both were fully charged over night. both in Power Save Mode with only the 7 in Greyscale. this was just in about 30-40 mins' time.

It's hard on the battery to kill it so plug in guys! When watching game of thrones you need to plug in or you won't see winter

5hr, 2min usage / 52% left on battery / 15hr, 9min standby - best battery life of any non-fablet size phone I've had so far.

Very impressed.

7 plus. Best battery life on a phone that I have had. Right now I'm over 3 hours of use with 17:25 of standby. Sitting at 73% left.

I loooove the battery life on my new 7 Plus. My 6S Plus was no slouch, but man, I'm finding at least a couple more hours on the 7 and that's with heavy usage today (new toy and all).

I just feel like the battery life is horrible. I have actually reset the phone using iTunes to see if battery life improves because otherwise it isn't great.

Don't forget, all of Apple's tests are probably done with full, reliable signal (3G, LTE, and Wi-Fi). One of the biggest drains on battery is when antennas are constantly searching for signal.

The biggest battery drain is the screen. That usage and standby statistic is useless. You need to tap the little clock icon to see "on screen" times and add that up.

Upgraded from 6S to 7 (AT&T) and haven't been able to evaluate battery life yet due to having to restart. The 7 keeps freezing up and has to be restarted. Also having the connectivity issues going from wifi to LTE. Gets stuck in 3g and needs to be restarted to connect to LTE. It does seem the battery is about like the 6S, maybe a bit worse but can't really tell.

So far I regret upgrading even though I'm on the next program and it only cost me the taxes. Feedback already sent to Apple. Will give it another week or so to see if they update iOS to correct connectivity issues. If not will return it.

Is this normal? Doesn't make sense to me compared to others on the thread.

It can be, but even when the screen is off, if the antennas are constantly searching for signal, battery power is getting constantly consumed.

Yeah, have to say that the 7 is draining battery "quicker" under a similar use pattern as I had with my 6. Unfortunately, even though I've had the 7 since launch day, it still isn't showing me the Battery Usage breakdown in Settings for me to determine if there's anything specific causing the quicker drain.

It should start showing immediately. You have some sort of bug.
