I know ... I'm on 10.0.2 ... just did a complete erase data and settings for a carrier unlock ... that's about all NOTHING else seems to be any different than I'm used to.

So a couple of weeks in what's the general consensus on the alleged better battery on the 4.7 model ? Still undecided on upgrading from my 6S, if Apple's figures are right (up to two hours better and on a battery on par with the 6S Plus version ??) I'd probably go for it.

Looks low to me.

I have attached a screen shot after I used iTunes to reset some settings and reinstall iOS. However, I still think it might be low.

The first 24 hrs or so would be unreliable, I would think with all the restoration processes, but if you don't get better after normal use for a few days, you may want Apple to take a look at it.

I have to say, the iPhone 7 battery life isnt great. Its nowhere near the numbers Apple present on their homepage. 13 hours of 3G surfing bla bla, are you kidding me? The phone drops 40% from one hour of surfing!

My 7 (I said I wouldn't get one and I lied to myself I think ) isn't very good compared to my 6s. Hopefully it improves I have only had it since Sunday so time will tell if it gets replaced.

what phone do you have?

That is on my 6s plus. I also have a pos note 5 that get slightly less but I've had to turn off most stuff bc android is just crap.

The longest I've ever went without charging my 6s plus was 3 days. I hit about 14 hours usage time on that.

Oh gosh yes!!! I has the iPhone 4 4s and 5. I loved them all but the battery like was garbage. I was lucky to make it to 3pm on a single charge. My wife has the 6s and she's ok with the battery. She uses it a lot and get through most days on a single charge.
Now the 6 plus and the 6s plus is where battery life is at. I have NEVER went to bed with more then 50% battery until the pluses. When I was working I would normally end the day with 35-45% battery left. Now that I'm a stay at home dad I really don't use them much until night time when I'm relaxing on the couch . I woke up this morning with 64% battery from charging yesterday morning.

I always thought it was normal to avoid using my phone during the day as that's the only way my battery would last :p

Lol No no. I can use my phone for a continuous 12 hours before I need a charge. You definitely need to upgrade and not just because of the battery either. What carrier do you have?

I plan to get the iPhone 7 soon, I'm becoming a photography fan so I deffo need to upgrade! The iphone 5's camera is amazing
Nah, I'm sure you'd agree it sucks.
[doublepost=1475612268][/doublepost]it doesn't even have a friggin' front flash! you mad?
I love that the 7+ as atopographic lens so you can optical zoom, htta' hwat i love the most <3

I love the battery life on this phone so much.

It's 8pm. Was off the charger at 7am. Moderate usage, a ton of safari browsing and some text/snapchat time as well.

57% left, 5 hours usage, 13 hours standby.

I've been averaging 9.5-11 hours of usage per day. My 6s+ was good too, but degraded some over time. Regardless, this phone seems to improve on that battery life some.

Is your phone an iPhone 7 or a 7 Plus?

Anyone upgraded from an iPhone 6s to a 7? How much better did the battery life get? I'm on a 6s now with 10% of its total battery capacity gone. Pretty sad, I know. I'm thinking of upgrading if there's a big battery life improvement over the 6s.

This is an example, regular 7 (4.7) I keep brightness usually at 50% or below indoors and have airplane mode on mode of the time, but seems great

You would need to upgrade to the plus.

If you're into photography the LG V20 is the way to go.

Getting decent battery life on my 7: been getting about ~9 hours usage time compared to only about ~7 hrs on my 6/6S.

7 hours on the 6s on iOS 9 or iOS 10? Asking because iOS 10 seems to kill battery life.

Only had the 6s on iOS 10 for a few days and didn't notice that much difference in battery life than before.

I'm defn getting better battery on the 7 compared to the 6S, of course YMMV.
