a couple other things to make sure of:What can be causing the drain I have service location on and wifi on what should I do to fix it
set raise to wake is ona couple other things to make sure of:
- set Raise to Wake off
- set Notifications, that aren't important enough, to not show on Lock Screen
well, that won't matter at all while you're sleeping anyway.set raise to wake is on
I did turn of Facebook notifications and messenger and mail I set to fetch manuallywell, that won't matter at all while you're sleeping anyway.
updated my previous post.I did turn of Facebook notifications and messenger and mail I set to fetch manually
I will try that I did take it to apple last week and the diagnostic test passedupdated my previous post.

I will try airplane modeOne thing that will help a lot is to either turn on DND at night or place the phone face down. That will keep the screen from constantly turning on.
Also if you are in a poor cell area, enable Wifi calling and/or put the phone in airplane mode.
This worked for me. Only lost ~3% overnight as opposed to the ~30% I was losing in a few hours.well, that won't matter at all while you're sleeping anyway.
go through all these...

also, try setting off apps that don't need to refresh in the background. set off apps that don't need cellular data as well as location.
I'm just wondering why the battery shows 37 min at home/lock screen. In 24 hours. I have the same.Somehow Messages keeps using up my battery with 1-2 minutes of background usage. Have had this for a while and really don't know why this keeps happening. iPad shows the same stats.
Phone is at 40 percent after 16 hours of standby and 4 hours of usage proximately, can't show the stats because I did a hard reset for the messages problem.

23% to 2% over night is that good or bad
My battery stats are stuffed, and to me it seems to be a iOS 10.0.2 fault.
I had no problems on 10.0 or 10.0.1 on my iPhone 7 but ever since updating to iOS 10.0.2, if I have WiFi and Mobile Data turned off and just BT with my Apple Watch on, my battery is down to 90% within 3 hours (without touching my phone within those 3 hours)
If I take a phone call, within 5 minutes it will go down by 10%...
Tried Low Power Mode, but that just seems to make the battery go down quicker...
Really starting to annoy the crap out of me, I've restored my phone twice already, reset network settings and nothing seems to be fixing it, leading it to be software. Did a AppleCare call and the lady said that the diagnostics show no wear of battery...
Not working. I'm off to the Apple Store this weekend to get the battery replacedTry doing a restore and setting it up as new.
