My iPhone 7's display is considerably warmer and less brighter than that of my 6S. The difference is very obvious when I hold both phones side by side. Is anyone else noticing this with their phone as well?
Three out of five purchased by family members are yellow.

It's a normal fault that appears when Apple launches a new model. Some get better over time or we go through the inconvenience of returning to the Apple store. It's a quality issue.

Fortunately my Nexus, Samsung and other Android phones never have this problem.

The iPhone 7 display is indeed very impressive. Comparing to an S6 Edge the colours are noticeably better. However, LCD has been pushed as far as it can go and 750p doesn't cut the mustard in 2016, let alone 2014.

Interesting choice of words there. Who determines what is and isn't "perfect"? Seems more like a subjective point of view to me. Not to take away from the stunning display that they're touting, but I think essentially calling it perfect is a bit much.
They have to use all those colorful words because the review is essentially Apple'/ paid advertisement

Yes, me too.

However, seems like based on DisplayMate's comment, 6s' screen is slightly too blue and 7's screen is very closed to D65 standard(don't know what this means, but looks like 7's warmer screen is better?)

Is it a joke? Everybody reports dark displays with ugly yellow tint,
but those guys have a unique great display...
Two different screens?

I went from an iPhone 6 to a 7. Honestly other than the 3D touch that I didn't have on the 6, I can't really tell a difference. Well the live photos when I'm scrolling through photos freaked me out. But yeah, didn't notice a big change in the screen.

But... but... so many people said it was the 6SS and not worth an update?

Can't wait for the seas of incredulity when the iPhone 7S is announced next year. I honestly can't wait.

If the rumours so far are wrong and Apple goes a fourth year with the same design + small upgrades I will be extremely disappointed. It's past time they got rid of the bezels and made other advancements.

That's one review of a hand picked sample. A lot of MR readers would say otherwise. I.e. worse than the 6 series on their phone.

Basically this review means jack. Too many new ip7 owners are complaining of yellow dim screens. This review sounds more like a paid ad from Apple.

Yet somehow Displaymate, which purchases their own units through retail channels, always gets a great example? Seriously, if the 'yellow' issues really stood up, somebody would have the test data to back up these accusations.

i was in store playing with the new iphone 7's. I have an iphone 6 plus and honestly i didn't see a massive improvement.

If any of you are on the fence upgrading do yourself a favor and visit the store.

The iphone 7 doesn't feel that much newer than the 2 year old iphone 6.

I don't know... I came from a 6 to a 7 and it feels like a massive upgrade to me. It's all relative I guess. Sure, it's the same physical form factor if that's what you're talking about. But the screen, speed/RAM, cameras/OIS, stereo speakers, battery life, and haptics are all huge improvements, not to mention the better looking design and water resistance.
