Apple doesn't pre-release dimensions to any case makers, right? So any case designs we're seeing are just regurgitations of earlier leaked specs, not confirmation of them?

If the 8 has the same size display as the 7s+, they'll have just devalued the 7s+ by making it appear to be the budget model for people who can't afford to be without bezels.

I'm with the folks who think this big phone trend is getting out of hand. I was really hoping that the 8 would have the screen size of the 7 but in a smaller package... Was also hoping for glass front and back like the 4 which sounds like it's out of the running now too. Not sure I'm as excited by this new device as I thought I'd be.

Will know better when the rumors harden into facts...

Funny, I looked at it and thought "the regular and plus are so close to each other already, trying to differentiate with a device in between is silly"... =D

Sorry you can't get everything you want. Larger phone, different specs. Want a smaller phone? It's a trade off.

Please, no bigger than the 6S/7! It's already big enough and with no jack socket this will be yet another no-buy for me. I'll need a lot of convincing to get me off my 6S.

So a 7s/7s plus and one 8 OLED model that's in between size and screen wise, and trimmed bezels?

Was kinda hoping for like a relatively bezel less 5.5" screen I don't really wanna downsize on real estate

But that's smart of apple to go for that since a lot of people find in between the two screen sizes the "sweet spot."

I really loathe how it's looking like a jet black / galaxy side finish chrome phone, from the (fake?) prototypes/model phones that "leaked" recently. I hope that's WAY off

Mostly because it's iterative yet again and sort of 4th run of 6 model body wise

Apple's design team is in a deep sleep, bordering on a coma, at the wheel

What's up with that iPhone 7 screen? I'm guessing it was replaced as it's clearly not the original Apple screen. Three very obvious sensors can be seen above the earpiece (which is also not as wide as on the iPhone 7 for the stereo speaker).

Maybe it's a fake 7 prototype from this time last year

I'm with you and as soon as I saw the picture I immediately realized I can COMPLETELY TUNE OUT for the WWDC keynote because the last thing I want is a bigger phone. Having said that, the SE is plenty capable. I have one and there's no reason at all to upgrade to anything anytime soon. Course for those who want better cameras and all that stuff I use real cameras and don't try and pretend my iPhone rivals a DSLR...which I've heard speak of since like the iPhone 4S.

71 mm width is on the wider side of mid size phones, but if that helps 16:9 aspct ratio, i am all for it.

Oh, just great. An even larger base phone. Yippee, instead of getting smaller, tech is getting larger. Plus, the headphone jack is still missing. Apple has clearly lost their way.
