the only difference between the iphone and the plus model should be its size. i do not want a larger phone to have a better camera and or screen. further, what's taking them so long?
In a discussion with Universal Display executive Darice Liu, Apple's potential use of OLED displays in an upcoming iPhone model surfaced, leading to the talk about overall display technology for the iPhone 8.
Oh boy, Specialized Bike Co's in-house lawyer team is chomping at the bit already. The most sue-happy company in sporting goods, with a 30 year history of wanton, needlessly aggressive, ill-conceived legal attacks on anyone they can half-bake a case to shake an even baseless trademark-infringement stick at, and Apple's gonna name an iPhone with their stupid brand name right in the title. lololol"specialized edition"
This is all speculation at this point. If you believe this article will hold dead true then you need to go with something that's already out.
How come Samsung can secure enough to for all their pphones?
Wait for the 9S. Rumours are this one is going to be the bullocks! Please Apple.... I'm waiting another year! Don't let it go to waste!
I just want to buy a really nice iPhone that looks like nothing that came before it, and then forget about it for a few years.

Which distinguishes them from other analysts who are shamelessly opportunistic. We remain cautiously opportunistic.
They sell 200 million phones a year. Selling 3 or 4 variants in volumes of 50 million each is not fragmentation...hello fragmentation!
So far no one has bought into anything. Apple isn't taking preorders for the iPhone 7 yet, let alone the iPhone 8.Look at the number of MR commenters that have bought into every other iPhone 8 rumour BUT all of a sudden this one is just too out-there ... I love it, picking and choosing the rumours to believe and embrace and casting the others aside.
Puffs Plus has lotion in the tissue.Because the word "plus" only means larger size to you, doesn't mean that's the only meaning to the word.
Apple will be well within it's right to release a plus model with more than just a screen size bump. If they want they can put a better camera, screen, processor or whatever they want, because plus doesn't mean just a larger phone.
The most common term or understanding of the word plus is to add more.
I understand your perspective but you have to realize the flip side of this statement is that you want the iPhone Plus to have a camera inferior to the one it can have. I'm not really interested in the 5.5" model either but I think Apple should always put the best hardware possible in a given device. They shouldn't cripple the 5.5" model to appease us 4.7" users.the only difference between the iphone and the plus model should be its size. i do not want a larger phone to have a better camera and or screen. further, what's taking them so long?
I get that, but that isn't Apple. It's the thin edge of the wedge. This is Apple fragmentation compared to a few years ago. They sell 200 million phones a year. Selling 3 or 4 variants in volumes of 50 million each is not fragmentation...
This is fragmentation.

you're missing the point. it's not magic, it's a business decision to increase margins. nothing more. they choose to not incorporate something into the standard in order to force buyers into paying an extra premium for a premium product. it's about greed, not entitlement.I feel I am entitled to no differences between iPhone models other than display size. Maybe price too. Whatever additional technology in the Plus afforded because of extra room should somehow, through innovation or magic, be included in the smaller iPhones. I demand it.
Otherwise, Apple really should make the Plus equal to the standard model because I want and need the best but I don't feel like paying more and I don't want a larger device, even though the larger device allows room for more technology. Apple should just give me what I want.
