Yeah I agree, I will probably go for the 7s plus if the phones ends up costs more than my budget :)

I wish everyone good luck paying €1500 for the new iPhone in EU. The material and assembly won't even be €300, but i guess many people will pay this high price for StarBucks purposes...

Inflation baby

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Na, most of it is actually contract upgrade pricing dying

no, it's not, it's a overwhelming marketing

inflation
$60.000 in 1992 it's a $100.000 in 2007
33% within 15 years isn't bad

Yeah I mean inflation is bad. I'm just saying most of it is still the upgrade. Basically doubled the cost of an iPhone. $200-$300 up front cost with a contract renewal, vs. $650-750 (although most people now do payment plans for these)

Think about it for a moment. If the iPhone 7S Plus 256GB is at $969, wouldn't you think Apple will price this at $1199. Hypothetically, if it's priced at $1099, that's only $130 more that the 7S Plus, which according to tech blogs, the price on the 7S and 7S Plus will stay the same (as the 7 and 7Plus).

That's what I'm expecting. They'll probably either do $1100 for a 64GB vs and $1300 for 256GB, or maybe $1200 for 126GB and $1300 for 256GB. That's my guess though

That makes sense but if they have a 64gb model which will do me it would hopefully be around the $1099, do you think? Thanks for reply

With Apple, it can go either way. Because the 8 is such a premium phone, I see them pricing it a couple hundred dollars from the 7S Plus, however, Apple likes to keep the cost low, so I wouldn't be surprise if Apple offers this 8 with 64GB at $999, so they can say it's attainable at under $1K. No different from retailers who price clothing at 79.99, 89.99, knowingly, a smart consumer would know it's really not on sale.

Yeah I agree, would love it to start at $999. So excited for the keynote! :)

The rumour about the price is the type of rumour Apple should leak out, to prepare the clients.
So, the leaks are coming to 1,1k or 1,2k. I suspect Apple will make it 999$, and we will feel it like a bargain.

Hello guys,

After a threw months of saving up and selling my iPhone 7 plus I have got £1100 to spend on a new iPhone 8 when it's released, do you think this will be enough or will I need to sell my car.

Thanks

You'll probably need to sell your car, won't need to remortgage your house though hopefully! Have you not thought about selling your kidney?

I think in the UK knowing how we're screwed it could be £1200 to £1400.
But who knows for sure? Not long now till we find out.

I can probably get the extra £100 by selling my dog haha
