Nope. The today X was like the first iphone,the begining. next year the iphone 5.8” will start from 799 or max 899$ and the plus will start from 899$ or 999$

Dude, stop drinking the kool aid. At most you could say that FaceID works about 80-90% as good as touchID. FaceID is fine, but it definitely fails a LOT more than touchID. And it doesnt work in normal situations like lying sideways in bed, grabbing the phone off the nightstand, and trying to unlock it. 100% fail rate with faceID.
FaceID is a cool novelty, but is worse for actually real life usability. Coming from a guy who has had 3 iPhoneX's and now went for the superior in every way iPhone 8+.
Or probably YOU will have to stop buying iPhones as they will be too expensive for YOU.
It is not like a tax that you must pay or something that you’re obliged to buy.
This way of thinking is what should really stop in my opinion, same as with the iPhone X price point... you’re just becoming boring...

Must be my environment. Face ID has failed about 4 times since I got the X on the 3rd. In all cases, I was outside in bright sunlight. Otherwise, it always works... glasses, contacts, sunglasses, day, night. Very good solid tech! Love the X
One question, the lack of home button, faceid is not my issue, was that a gradual transition for you or quick? I still miss the home button for navigation.
It wasn't too long ago when everyone laughed at holding a phablet the size of a piece of toast. Now it's bigger like the size of a pizza slice (iPhone 8+) or pizza slice with piece bitten off (iPhone X).

@thisisnotmyname is commenting about the info in the article, not rendering an opinion regarding which one is a better buy. If the analyst are to be believed, the 8+ already outsells the 8, so the opposite isn't true.
That logic doesn't hold up since the 8+ is reportedly the first + model to outsell the regular model. The + models for the 6, 6S, and 7 didn't outsell the regular models so the your theory doesn't hold.
I don't miss the size of my 6 plus at all. It was super easy to adapt to the X.
