Hi

I bought the iPhone Air on launch day, In September 2025.
2 weeks ago I sold it, regret it, and bought a brand new iPhone Air again šŸ˜…
But what I'm experiencing on my new iPhone Air is surprising to me.
The new iPhone Air has been running for 8 days now, and I did set it up as a brand new, and did not restore from iCloud backup. Start fresh!

1) I feel the battery life on my new iPhone Air is significantly worse than on the old one. Is it even possible? I just feel I have to charge a couple of hours earlier, than I did on the other one.

2) My iOS Systemdata is 11.44 GB. and has been that the whole week. On "the old" iPhone Air, it was only 7.5 GB. Why is the difference so big?

What iOS version were you with ā€œthe oldā€ Air?

On iOS 26.4.2 on my 17 PM system data is 11.41GB.

I was running 26.4 on the former Air. On the new Air I just did a setup straight from the box, without my Mac
I did a restore from my Mac yesterday, and backup from iCloud. Now my Systemdata is 7.52 GB. on 26.4.2. It’s a big difference.
