"What do you do for a living" -- "I'm retired." He's obviously got cash if he doesn't work (he can't be more than 43 or 44. I'm sure he doesn't do this everyday and by that I mean: stand in line for electronic devices. He probably feels this is LIVING -- spending a week on the streets of NYC to meet people, interact with other APPLE-TYPES and in the end, get the hottest phone ever sold. I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

I jokingly asked my wife if she would ever let me spend 100 online for a product... she looked at me like I was crazy and gave me the most emphatic HELL NO I've ever heard from her. I think she thought I was serious.
