These guys are nuts

he forsure has nobody to call on that iPhone...but hey, he's famous now!

I can't believe how many people are tearing these guys up. Who cares what these guys do? I actually feel sorry for them - they have no idea the kind of mean things people are saying about them...

Nothing to see here people move along.

lol, can somebody modify the poll so that a new option "several days in advance" appears?

Pretty sad, but if your retired and have no girlfriend...
you could just treat it like a massive festival and get really drunk, it would be amazing at 4 in the morning...or would you just be a hobo then? where is that line?

Why get in line this early? It makes no sense!

Well, it allows them to say they were the first in NY to get the iPhone. It's publicity now and possible publicity down the road.

Good to see that they're making GREAT use of that publicity now. Promote your iBananna... what a great way to waste 1 minute of your 15 minutes of fame.

those guys are not there to buy a phone, the one on the left is asking for money for food, and when asked how long he is going to stay, he answers : "two or three days"

there are freaks for everything.
Seriously, why would you camp for an iPhone?
Come on, just go there the day after. What's the hurry. We all have been waiting for it 6 months anyway, why not wait another week or two.

Get a life nerd freaks!

I hope these dudes are getting wasted....

Five day bender....then get home on the weekend "uhh i lost my phone.."

I think alcohol or other substances would be the only way I could stand outside waiting for a phone for 4 days. Man and I thought I was a nerd back in the day, hah!

wow
get a life:eek:
"What do you do for a living" -- "I'm retired." He's obviously got cash if he doesn't work (he can't be more than 43 or 44. I'm sure he doesn't do this everyday and by that I mean: stand in line for electronic devices. He probably feels this is LIVING -- spending a week on the streets of NYC to meet people, interact with other APPLE-TYPES and in the end, get the hottest phone ever sold. I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

I jokingly asked my wife if she would ever let me spend 100 online for a product... she looked at me like I was crazy and gave me the most emphatic HELL NO I've ever heard from her. I think she thought I was serious. :)
