iPhone Camping Begins, 5th Avenue NYC

Guys are probably just going to sell it on ebay ... the guy was not a real iPhone fan.... possibly they should go back to the day of the even and see if either of those guys are still there.

Other than that if you have nothing better to do sounds like fun maybe he will get some chicks because he is famous on MacRumors!!!! Gosh thats got to get you some tail. :D
 
You could probably get in line 24hrs early and still get an iPhone. I really don't get it. Still, as others have said, it's his life :)

Totally correct they are part of our lives now.... gosh if you want to get critical we are all on a website posting about these guys having fun... yes its fun.

But when I have my iphone I will be posting from some seedy nightclub rave instead of my home which needs a good cleaning.:p

amen. live and let live. So I wouldn't do it, you wouldn't do it... so what. Billions of people all over the world do things every day that I wouldn't do, that I might think are stupid, or even ridiculous. So what? I don't get the anger directed at these guys.
 
I know folks here planning to camp out a day or two before it hits here.

I waited 16hrs for my Wii..so I know how it is.
 
Oh man. I hope this doesn't create the same hysteria that surrounded the launch of the Wii.

And I'm affraid that it might, because I feel like the hype and anticipation for the iPhone is much greater than the Wii.
 
I agree. this dude has the right idea. that's brilliant way to camp out that close to central park without getting a fine!

i want to go buy him a pretzel or something.

The difference is that the Wii is actually very good IMO.

My God what is this world coming too...someone with clearly WAY too much time on his hands. Clearly he has absolutely no life (no gf...no surprise!) and no job. Can Apple just give this guy an iphone because it's quite pathetic from my perspective. Can someone post a video of someone WITH A LIFE! and is waiting in life because he/she is genuinely excited to get an iphone. Is this the kind of video that America wants to show the rest of the world? Hmmm...:confused:

I bet this coverage spawns new lines in SFO, LAX, BOS, MIA and other cities tomorrow..........

If these guys pics get on some newspapers then I think it's a good bet we will see others wanting to be nos 3/4/5 ....... tomorrow!

Ok that's ridiculous. Camping outside the store for like 4 days just for a phone? No thanks.

I'm sure it will happen.
I know it will happen here at least by Wed afternoon.

I usually go a day in advance if I plan on camping out.

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but isn't the "iPhone sucks" schtick getting kind of old by now? If you don't like the phone then stop posting about it. GOSH :D

Though I do agree with half of your comment. The Wii rocks my socks.

And these people waiting in line for the iPhone so early are waaay of line... They are just going to make it harder for me to get my hands on one! IDIOTS
