It does looks nice.
Not sure if I could deal with the android os and everything else that comes with it.

I don't want to derail my own thread by starting an iOS vs android debate, but both platforms have advantages and disadvantages. I've had (still have, actually) a Nexus 7. I like having a toe in each pool, so to speak. It's the only way to fully appreciate both. I'll still have my iPad for iOS.

I hear you.
It's more of a personal preference for me.
And the ecosystem works out for my particular uses.

Confession: I use my old 4s as an iPod so that I don't drain my SE.
Confession: I always make sure my phone is charged to 100% before disconnecting.
Confession: I keep all the SIM cards I have ever purchased.

I like to wipe my iPhone 6S Plus with wet tissue or wet cloth. Sometimes, I sprinkled a bit of water before wiping. Am I the only one?

I did damaged my iPhone 6's gyro by doing this, luckily not my iPhone 6S Plus.

Confession: I occasionally reset my phone and restore it just so I can partially relive launch day.

I just watch and re-watch unboxing videos on YouTube for pretty much the same reason. There's nothing like that first time opening the box and setting up your new device. Normal people consider it a chore, but we special few enjoy every second of it! :)

Confession: Even though I have a 128GB iPhone, I still treat it like I have a 16GB iPhone. It's like an itch... feels so good to itch. I use Google Photos to wipe my Photos monthly. A habit I haven't broken. (I back them up on OneDrive, Amazon Photos, UpThere, my Mac Mini's HD).

Fact: My wife and I go to the Apple store together, usually first in line, to buy iPhones together every 2 years. We look forward to it and really like it.

Confession: I've spent way too much money trying to find the perfect case for my 6+ and 6s+ - and still haven't settled on anything. Something I'm not proud of.

Confession: I watch the battery health via coconutBattery several times a week and get goosebumps when I see the mAh over design capacity. I have a huge battery OCD and love playing with batteries (have many Anker batteries).

Confession: In browsing eBay I landed on a newly listed iPhone 3GS, open box (with the plastic on the iPhone, never used, never activated) for $29. and found myself buying it.

I will use a SIM adaptor and actually use this dang thing, giving my iPhone 6S a rest as I do enjoy the feel of the older iPhone 3GS. Dumb, I know- but a cheap thrill (is what I tell myself).

Confession: I have bad battery anxiety. If I go without a battery case I get "nervous" when my iPhone 6 Plus drops below 50% battery. Why I alternate between 4 battery cases- some the Chinese knockoffs and one a genuine Mophie Juice pack. Hate the extra bulk but hard to go without a battery case!

Yeah, but the reason it's a confession for me is that I have stated several times here that I HATE the iPhone 4/4s series. ;)
Confession: I know. I know. ;) :D Trust me my jaw dropped when I read your confession. I had to doublecheck and make sure I was seeing the correct user name!

Confession: I love gadgets. It started when I was six and my dad bought me my first transistor radio.

I don't fully understand computers in the way my husband does with his engineering and coding background, nevetheless, if it's metal or plastic and has electronics in it, I'm in love. I like that my husband's job requires him to bring a lot of different kinds of computers home from time to time, at least overnight. I am happy to just look at them all. He never has to talk me into buying a new computer or smart phone or tablet for our family. Actually he has to be the grownup and talk me out of them.

It usually backfires. I got the Apple Watch despite his misgivings so he had to get one too and he loves it. Then I went off and decided come hell or high water I was getting a Note 7 for my 50th birthday, so he had to get one, too. He has hated Android for some time but he said he can't just stand by and let me get into trouble with it so he has to have one, too. :p He just doesn't want to be left out of any fun I'm going to have. Thank goodness at this point in life we can afford to indulge like that. It helps that I don't spend money on very many other things. And it really helps that AT&T has that pseudo BOGO deal running. ;)

Android, iOS, Windows, Mac OS...gotta catch 'em all!

Confession: I do think Apple products are the most beautiful, overall.

That is a great price.
But I couldn't tolerate using it as my regular phone for longer than a few hours.
It would be great for nostalgia once in a while though:)

So, this iPhone arrives and sure enough- it is pretty brand new looking and all- box, plastic wrap- the whole nine yards. I pop my SIM into it and plug it into iTunes. Error 2001 jumps up. What? Looking around I discover it is due to a faulty and/or dead battery.
I think this one sat so long without being used the battery went kaput. Shoot. What a hassle to return, yet am kind of forced to do so. Not a happy ending, but so goes the life of purchasing iPhones off of eBay I suppose.

Man, that really stinks.
Unless you can just replace the battery but it might have other issues also.
I never heard of an unused/unopened iPhone not even turn on cause of battery that hasn't even been used at all.

Confession: i have bought the last 3 iphones 5,6, and 6s but never had them for more than 6-8 months.

I have a special blue microfiber rag that I use to wipe off all of my devices every single night. I fold it into fourths, get the corner wet, then wring it out until it's damp, and start wiping my devices. Then I grab the dry side and dry it off immediately, making sure to not leave streaks or any smeared oils. Once that's done, I plug it in for the night, making sure to not touch the screen again until the morning.

I wipe my iPhone off like this at least 2-3 times per day. I know I have a problem :D

Confession: I like iPhones, but if Rubinstein and the rest of them hadn't done such a poor job, I'd be using a Pre 6 or 7 to post this.

No, it turned on, but wouldn't get out of a boot loop. Plugging into iTunes for a restore got it into error 2001 (bad/defective battery). So although the iPhone would power on, I couldn't get it past that initial stage. Replacing the battery is not a consideration for a 3GS. Just not worth it, IMO.

Confession: I've never broken a lightening cable and I've been there from the start with iPhone 5!

Don't see how people do it, my mates are always saying they are breaking them and i never have
Exactly the same with me.

Confession - I don't like if people touch my phone

You should just get a good external battery pack and stay away from using the charging case. I bought one and hated the bulk so now it's in the cupboard gathering dust.
