Confession - no matter how pretty or better other people say 'other' devices are, i still cant bring myself to leave the apple ecosystem and ios. Will have an apple phone as long as my a$$ points downwards. I shudder at the thought of using android or windows

The ecosystem is the beauty of apple services.

I have multiple android and iOS devices. I think Android is fine for people who don't care about privacy and don't have the concept of ecosystem where multiple devices work together.

This is specifically a type of user base in emerging economic countries as they generally don't have loads of gadgets sitting around to do different things. They'd rather buy a jack of all and Android is perfect in such situation.

I have a special blue microfiber rag that I use to wipe off all of my devices every single night. I fold it into fourths, get the corner wet, then wring it out until it's damp, and start wiping my devices. Then I grab the dry side and dry it off immediately, making sure to not leave streaks or any smeared oils. Once that's done, I plug it in for the night, making sure to not touch the screen again until the morning.

I wipe my iPhone off like this at least 2-3 times per day. I know I have a problem :D
Im with you except I douse a tissue with alcohol and slather the alcohol on. Then the phone goes next to my bed. All squeaky clean and degermed.
Confession: I sold my 6S plus and got a HTC 10. Couldn't be happier.
You should use what works for you.

The ecosystem is the reason I won't leave. I love the ecosystem and it provides a phenomenal user experience that I can't find anywhere else. Sure, Android flagships wow me with their screen resolutions and their waterproofing and designs on occasion, but I've had enough experience with Android and various Android devices to know that it simply doesn't work as well (for me) and so I continue using iOS. Android phones don't have much of an ecosystem to tie into like Apple devices, and I love that level of cohesiveness that Apple products have and how seamlessly they work together.

Like you said, a lot of people don't get the concept of the ecosystem. They just want one device that can do tons of things. I'd rather have a few different devices that do specialized things well and integrate with each other seamlessly over a jack-of-all-trades, master of none type of device. If more people had the chance to try the Apple ecosystem, I think they'd find that it provides an awesome user experience that they can't find anywhere else.

Confession : I've never had a bad experience I couldn't figure out in over 7 years with an iPhone, Jailbroken or not. Everything has always worked perfect, or I've been able to rectify the problem. I can't relate to 90% of the issues people have, and often feel 'alone' in my success

You're not alone!
