A foldable is basically an inferior phone combined with an inferior iPad. What's the point?

Did you even watch the keynote? While it doesn't have the same full camera tech as the iPhone 18 Pro, there are zero other compromises. That's the point.

Dude take another look at those composited fingers... there's no way this is fitting in my pocket either. And I have gigantic hands for my height. I don't even like the standard iPhone 12. The 4S and 5 were the perfect width. Phones are just clown shoes now.

It's a Duo, not a regular iPhone. If the aspect ratio isn't for you, don't buy it. I think they were very thoughtful with the dimensions. New, different, yes... but sized with intention.

You cannot buy the iPhone using Apple Financing or Leasing and choose the unlocked model. All finance modes MUST select a carrier. No more factory unlocked iPhones with financing, just full price to be paid upfront.

Yup it’s a 50% markup. Tarrifs? Who knows. Still love it. Something fresh and new. A different experience. Gonna hold off and see. I don’t care about cameras and I love the Air, but now that this is here it beckons.

That was my thought. too. Had they centred the under-screen and rear cameras. it would be fully flippable. Maybe the next iteration?

So it’s smaller than a standard iPhone when folded but yet it won’t fit in unit pocket?! That makes zero sense. I have a pro max which which goes in my pocket.
