I don't think it did this before, but now when you leave the weather app and return to it, you will be at the last location you looked at. I think in the last version it always returned you to the beginning of your list.
You should ONLY update your iPhone from your home computer (if that is where you activated it from). Your office computer probably won't be able to recognize your iPhone. I wouldn't do it. Plus, it won't let you do it anyway.
Sorry.
Call me crazy, but I am excited about the increased volumes more than anything. I like to talk on speakerphone in the car, and that was my only knock on the phone compared to my old Nokia.
How do you actually turn off Edge now? I see no button for it.
SMS notification has always vibrated.Pretty lame update. Fixes a few things (sms tones, itunes wifi), but that is about it. Where is iChat, individual email check times, custom wallpaper, notes, todo, mms... All the things we wanted. Does SMS notification even vibrate or just play the tone?

Until Macromedia and Apple can figure out a way that it wont suck your battery dry, it might be a bit for this.
Good thing I don't really miss flash websites.

Macromedia = R.I.P.
(Sorry, couldn't let that slide...!)

FYI
Also being reported: 1.1.1 fixes the dot-pattern problem
There is also iTunes 7.4.3 out now too. This new or did I just miss an iTunes update in the past?
I have an unmodded iPhone and I keep getting a pop-up saying "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1603)." Prior to this, I had to restore it because it said my iPhone was in recovery mode and had to be restored to its original settings in order for the update to take place. Anyone else have this crap?!
I just did it from the office and it works perfectly fine. You should ONLY update your iPhone from your home computer (if that is where you activated it from). Your office computer probably won't be able to recognize your iPhone. I wouldn't do it. Plus, it won't let you do it anyway.
Sorry.
Yes, valid I'd day: the dock connector video-out system has changed to support component.
There is no Apple lock-in, just a feature change that affects some (not all) older video accessories. iLounge jumped the gun I'd say. The idea that Apple wanted to lock this certain tiny SUB-segment of video accessories makes no sense--it would affect Apple's profits hardly at all. I've even heard of some "authentication chip" Apple wants to sell video accessory makers--but I believe this to be an often-repeated fiction.
Expect new 3rd party accessories to support the new video-out system.
Maybe you have been out of the loop, but Adobe now owns Flash, not Macromedia. Macromedia has been "Resting in Peace" for quite some time now.
And as far as Flash "resting in Peace" - dream on. That has about as much relevance as saying "Photoshop R.I.P."

I sync my music and photos on my home Mac, and sync my calendar on my office PC. I originally activated from my Mac, and just now updated via my PC. No problems with any of that.
