Actually, IMAP should be faster than POP3 as it only checks for new messages whereas POP always downloads everything.
You've got that backwards...

Agreed. iLounge has been in a bad mood latelyThey have slammed Apple in cases where clearly the facts were not in yet.
(I wonder when their iPod Touch review will be updated to reflect that their bad screen was in fact an issue Apple has fixed, and not a problem with every Touch?)
Anyone wanting to try the iTunes WiFi without paying money? If so, just go to the iTunes store on your computer and see who the free single of the week is by and simply search the artist and find the song that says free and get it. I just did and it worked fine, took about 12 seconds to dl the song.
which artist? All I've seen free songs on iTunes that are $0.99 on iTunes WiFi
have the yellow and red traffic indicator lines on Maps always pulsated?
I thinkIf early reports are correct and this is, indeed, not bricking unlocked phones, we have all sorts of things to speculate about!
1. Is Apple *intentionally* not breaking the unlocked phones?

I'm trying to get a phone call from somebody who has a custom ringtone to see if it works and im about to sit down at my computer and look more into whether it can be fixed
Not sure if it was already put up but there is a new calc icon
OK, I'll give you those two and maybe some others. They still strike me as the least desirable of those basics. I'll take your word for it that people wanted a WiFi store, and its not that I have a problem with it being there, its just frustrating that I have a device where I can purchase mp3s over WiFi but I can't text two people at once, MMS, mass delete email, turn the phone sideways in every app, etc. I'm not anti-WiFi store per se, but I do find it frustrating that they had developers spending time on the WiFi store and not doing some of the other things that seem pretty basic.
Just noticed that volume limiting seems to be broken now. I never used it before but thought it might be worth testing out. I set it to about 10%, then go into the iPod and crank the thing up to 100% with no problem...Even tried setting a password for the volume limit and that doesn't seem to work either.
Looks like it, they left off the division sign, and replaced it with the equals sign in orange. Weird, why would they do that?

Increased ringer/speaker volume?? Screw your fancy unlockery and app tap shenangians, this is all I ever wanted out of my iPhone
The double-space period thing is VERY WELCOME too![]()
99% sure all those ringtones are old. I know for sure 4 of them were.Did anyone notice that there are some new basic ringtones added - unless I just didn't see them before: Strum, Timba, Pinball, Robot and I think Trill. Can anyone confirm these?
