Got my 12 mini a few hours ago and it’s pretty nice. I dont like that text was smaller than my 11pro, I figured it would be the same size with just less on the screen. I tried display zoom first and that made everything a little too big so then I went to text size and adjusted it up 1 and now text is about the same size, slightly bigger, as on my 11 pro. So far I’m pretty happy but time will tell on the battery life. The size and weight are great but I still think a 5.8 pro with a lighter weight would have been my dream 12.

I got my blue mini about 2 hrs ago, and I really like it. I have the ESR full screen protector with the Poppy leather case. Very nice indeed. I Ike the feel of the phone in hand.
Streaming Music over 5G absolutely destroys my battery
I think they should have skipped 5G on the Mini (at least this year).
It would have allowed the battery life to be better and perhaps the price to be a touch lower.
Same. 2 hours in and loving my blue mini. I haven‘t yet opened the Kumquat silicone case. I love the look of that Poppy leather case (and watch band) and think it‘s a good fit with blue.
I really like the mini. Coming from an iPhone 11. The size is great, exactly what I was hoping for. Very easy to hold, use one handed. Black apple leather case fits perfectly with no corner popping that I’ve noticed, and the amFilm screen protector is great. I love the weight(lessness) and it’s insanely awesome in the pocket. Something I didn’t expect is the desk space I get back vs the iPhone 11. I was worried about her keyboard size but it’s absolutely fine. Yep, I’m very happy with it and glad most folks seem to like theirs too.
I do like it, but I haven’t quite decided yet whether to keep it. I’m coming from an 11 pro, and while I love the size and the weight and don’t mind the lower screen real estate, typing is a bit harder. I’ll give it a few days to make up my mind.

Its already my favourite iPhone in many, many years. I’ve been one of those who’s really not been enjoying the upward trend in phone size so I’ve been wanting Apple to make a device like this for a long time.
Have you noticed issues with swiping from Lock Screen.

Not including it would have allowed for more space for battery (possibly) as well as allowing for slightly lower cost.
Got mine; finished setting up. Still getting used to the size. Personally, I wish it was just a bit bigger. Coming from a 7, so very similar, but it is a bummer that videos are actually smaller (granted, just a tiny bit). I had a 12 at first but was having trouble adjusting to the big jump from the 7 to the reg 12. My hands are on the smaller side and I do use it one handed a lot, while out and about, commuting, etc. (Though none of that now since I’ve been working from home the past 8 months.) I’ll have to give it some time.
I had to take the iCarez 2D full screen protector off as swiping up from the Lock Screen was an issue with the iPhone Leather case. I ordered a different brand from Amazon to see if it’s better.

I need to figure out whether I can live with the camera and I want to see the battery life once everything stops downloading. Also need to figure out the text size thing and whether it's ok. But the size is sooooo incredible.

Turning off True Tone helped. FYI - you can’t really notice the tint if you’re on a dark theme. Had to switch over to the light theme for me to see it.55 pages lol.
Yellow Screen/Tint? Display seem "Warm"? Check here first!
Reports are already surfacing of a classic annual tradition in iPhone land - the dumping of yellow tinted reject screens on unsuspecting consumers. I don’t see the option to turn on battery percentage in settings with the mini. Was it removed?
No problem swiping up after I realized I was trying to swipe from the bottom on the screen by the lip of the case, which isn’t really needed. You can still start the swipe about 1” from the bottom of the screen.
That is a shame. I guess I will load the battery widget on the Home Screen. Will take a few days to get adjusted to a FaceID phone again after using an SE.
I don’t see it either but I do have the percentage when I swipe down control centre. Maybe because I carried over from my 11 pro
