But how could the iphone get multitasking when the ipad doesn't have it? or will there be an update for the ipad as well
Excited about the preview announcement, but when will it be RELEASED?
I am going broke. Too many great products coming out so close together. But i have had every version of the iPhone so i am sure i will have this one too.Something tells me this wont run on the first iPhone, possibly not the iPhone 3G either, in which case I'm out of luck but that's okay because I'm defiantly getting the next iPhone.
The iPad will be updated to 4.0 at the same time as the iPhone.
Great! Apple wont let me sleep this week too???
I wonder if they will shutup all the negative people that complained about lack of certain features.
Lol you actually lose sleep over the release of Apple products?!![]()
OS X Mobile
OS X Desktop
Simple enough.
Is it possible Apple rushed this to kill the hype surrounding the HTC EVO?
Every program has the capability to save their state upon program exit. It's up to the programmer to implement this ability in their program.
1) Talk about short notice. 3 days
2) I predict iPhone hardware announcements
In my opinion the only notification that needs to be modal is the "you have a phone call" notification (this includes SIP/VOIP calls as well). Every other notification needs to somehow go in a queue that can be looked at later instead of forcing the user to do something right then and there.I don't care about third-party app multitasking that much, as Apple provided apps already run in the background, but it wouldn't hurt.
Calendar needs some improvement though. Right now, if I have more than two events in one day, I get no visual clue that there are more to see if I scroll down. Clicking on Location of an event should take me to Google Maps as well. Event Notifications also need a better interface, but otherwise, I am happy with the existing OS.
I could see them changing the name to iOS since it now covers 3 devices.
