128GB iPhone 6 Plus. I was going to get the 64 GB (top end version), but figured why not double the storage for what I was going to pay anyway.

I will be ordering it unlocked (no contract).

If I buy a T-Moible Contract free iPhone 6 Plus, I can use it on ATT right?
If this is true thats probably the way I will be going. No point in paying full price for the AT&T version if it is going to be locked out of the box. As long as there are no missing LTE bands its hopefully all good.

So why are people camping out in front of Apple stores if you can just pre-order them online or at your local T-Mobile store?

What I think you (myself, and I'm sure everyone else :D) were hoping for is a 32gb base device hahaha. In that case it would've been a killer deal. But that's the genius in apples marketing. You'll buy the 64gb, so will I...although 32 would've been perfect. #forcedupgrade

That's exactly it. Either make the base model 32gb or offer a 32gb model that is slightly cheaper than the 64gb.

Wait, if I order on Apple.com will it be delivered to my house the same day they sell it in stores? Or will it just ship the same day?

People are saying you will receive the phone on the 19th if you pre-order it... which is why I'm wondering why the hell people are camping outside stores lol

128GB 4.7 AT&T

I really don't want a phone that big, but I guess people with huge hands have won this round :p

Hoping AT&T will let me get the upgrade pricing if I pre-order on the 12th even though my contract ends on the 14th. This is the first iPhone I'll be getting since AT&T changed the rules from 18 months to 24 months. If I remember correctly, when you pre-order on the Apple site they check your eligibility before giving you pricing.

If thats the case then Im ordering for sure. I can stay at work and they deliver to my work address.

I've even received my pre-orders a day early in the past. People that are camping aren't doing it to be the first to get it. At least I hope not.

It's more about the experience any more these days. Hanging out with like-minded people and sharing the experience while meeting new people. I can see how it might appeal to some. Not this guy though. Same ol' pre-order/stalk FedEx routine for me.

I have two lines on my AT&T account. One line is eligible for early upgrade and the other one isn't until Sep 21st. I called the retentions department to see if they could move up my early upgrade date on the line that isn't ready yet, and they offered me full upgrades on both lines! So instead of paying $549 on both lines... I'll be paying $299 (each) for 2 64GB iPhone 6's! To anyone in my boat or a similar situation, call the retentions department!

The only thing is I can't pre-order them online, I have to wait until their department opens Friday morning. But I can't complain, I'll be saving close to $600 total.

Thanks for the info. So does this mean you have to order via AT&T's website instead of Apple?

Can someone please explain T-Mobiles monthly program? Why would I NOT choose to do this?

Pay like $30/month for the iPhone 6... then when the iPhone 6s comes out next year, I just trade it in and continue making the same $30/month payments? Rinse and repeat?

What am I missing here?

well...you're missing the part where you have to buy your own phone and then sell it and buy the next one in a year. but it's still a great deal if you live in an area with good service.

What do you mean? If I buy an iPhone 6 and pay monthly for it, then don't I just trade it back into T-mobile and get the iPhone 6s and continue paying monthly?

What's the catch in that?

You will get it on the 19th. I pre-ordered the 5 two years ago and received it on release day. You have to be home to sign for it, they will not leave it.

Does anyone know if we will be able to preorder full price from Apple? I am no Mobile share with pay full for phones and it is not clear from what I can see so far on apple store that they will let me order an unlocked phone. I hate to do AT&T order since they made a mess of my iPhone 5 upgrade.

Why? the 32GB phone, same price, got a doubling in storage!
I'm thrilled!!

I don't get what people are talking about either, your getting the 64gb version for the price of the 32gb. Makes no sense. People just don't use there heads.

Because it's fairly difficult to order online. It's not like you're in and out in 2 minutes. You have to wake up at 3am and experience 4 hours of frustration because the website won't load or you'll get half way through your order and the website won't load. I did it one year, it's not fun. I'll probably try again this year though. I want a 128GB 6+ and I have a feeling the stores will have next to none on release day.

Can I use a Apple Gift Card to pre order my iPhone in order to avoid what happened to me last time fraud protection from my cc backordered my order to the back of the line
