...which sort of proves the point that 3.5" is just too small for any serious web browsing. Painfully so. If you don't browse much or do much photo viewing, the 3.5" is just fine. I've pretty much given up browsing on my iPhone, it's just too small to be a pleasant experience.

Though I doubt we'll ever see it from Apple, I think 4" is a very good size for all around use (of course Apple would prefer me keep the small iPhone and also get an iPad).

I would say its a phone and a mini tablet. 3.5" is fine but an extra half an inch really does make a big difference when things are this small to begin with.

Agreed. An extra half an inch makes it way too big for a pocketable device.

What is just right or too big is very subjective. I love the size of the screen on my Droid X. Going down to a smaller screen will suck, but the other parts of the phone are worth it.

I think the iPhone 4 screen is the perfect size for me. I can't stand using other phones that have larger screens. If it were to increase just slightly, it'd be fine. But anything significantly bigger than the current screen would detract from one of the reasons I love the iPhone.

Personally, I love the size of my phone the way it is now.
Plus, if Apple is just going to make the font bigger on the iPhone with a bigger screen, then i'm not interested. If they're actually planning to make more stuff fit in the screen, then fine, i'll consider.

I would definitely like a 4.3-4.5" screen. I'd like the phone to be a little larger overall too. Easier for my man sized hands to operate

3.7 or 4" is the max i would give it.
And that sounds perfectly fine with me, if they can move the home button and increase the screen size i'd love it.

I agree that the iPhone screen is the ideal size.....for 2007 era smart phones but clearly not what the cutting edge market craves. It is not a question of if they will go larger it is when. Once you use a 4 or larger it is hard to go back.
