iPhone UK - Sitting at home waiting for delivery

Sad ratio!

I think we should have a quick fun pole to see who is the saddest amongst us.

I'll start, I woke up at 3.30am this morning so excited that I haven't been back to sleep. I cancelled my spin class this morning, just in case the man from DHL came with my package. I have a dentist appointment at midday, do I cancel or not?? I am also working nights tonight & I don't want to go back to bed this afternoon as I might miss him..........I'm neary 42 years old!!

Beat that!!
 
DHL reckon my iPhone is 'In transit' in Enfield, North London! Great apart from the fact that I live in SOUTH LONDON / Surrey!!

Just checked my order out on O2 and has it down for Standard Delivery ... have a horrible sinking feeling that I am not going to see my iPhone till next week ... :(
 
yea and whats this about paying the first month in advance? like when will the next bill be after this first one, and after 18 months will we stil actually only pay 18x£35? if u get what i mean

No, you win! I cancelled a weekend trip to Manchester but still took the day off.

Not sure whether I can beat it, but I have closed my business for today so basically nothing can disturb me in case I miss the delivery. I also have my camera set up for an unboxing video (ooh, the shame!) I slept on the sofa last night in case I overslept in bed, and I am not having anything to eat or drink in case I need to go to the toilet which could potentially cause a delay in getting to the door and possibly missing Mr DHL. Also, I've let the dog on the couch for some reason. I've never done that before.

Assuming its a new contract, o2 set Contracts up to start on the 10th, with billing produced overnight as you go into the 11th. So you're paying £35 (for next month) plus 1/30 of £35.

I "accidently" went out with work last night, working from home today awaiting the little yellow man to arrive with a parcel. This excitement and anticipation is good though - its making me forget my hangover....oh hang on.....its NEARLY making me forget my hangover! :D

Exactly - I know traffic in London crawls but hurry up! It's only a mile or so down the road from Chelsea after all... and I have a meeting to go into at 10. If the parcel shows up, it might be the shortest brainstorm meeting ever!

Nope... mine says 'Standard Delivery' but then says 'Next Working Day' on the email. It'll come.

No, just entered account number if I remember rightly. My contract has now been updated in 02 to expire 2010 and I have been charged for the iPhone so I guess in their opinion it doesn't matter whether I activate it or not when it arrives!

darn, was thinking, order it online, get it delievered and unlock it .

But i dont have an iphone v1, i have an o2 contract though, but thats for a nokia phone :(
 
My DHL status just changed to "HSD Out for Delivery awaiting IOD" It will be here very soon - like waiting for santa. Should I pretend to be asleep? :D
