i like how these are all stated 'matter of factly' like you should KNOW that Apple is doing a certain thing. honestly unless Apple releases an ad showing a front facing camera with video chatting - then you can't say it has it, and you can't say it definitely doesn't have it. MacRUMORS man

But it's also in-line with your camera because the camera needs to be centered.
They wouldn't have an off-center light that far away from where the camera would be.
Most likely, the reasoning for it being off center on the MacBook/MacBook Pros is because of the latch on the lid. You really don't want to be putting your fingers all over it every time you open it up.
I thought something seemed a bit off with the hands but I assumed it was some backwards mirroring camera trickery so I just quit looking at it.
Yeah I said that early in the thread, it looks like he found a mockup of the UI, photoshopped his picture into it, loaded it to the iPod Touch 1st gen via iTunes, displayed the picture on his phone, then took the picture with another camera, and added a light. Not complicated. As if Apple wouldn't notice a activated rogue iPhone 'Video' running before release. How paranoid would you be? The Steve Jobs mafia would track that cell signal and before you know it you would be sleeping with the fishes.
Not necessarily. If it acts like the iSight in iChat it's just a mirror image.
But I also don't believe it's real because of that light flare.
Hey, guess what...that's pretty much an iPod touch. It looks like it has that sharp bezel and not the "better-in-your-hand" style of the iPhone.

I'm not buying this either. The fact that it took almost 2 hours to post another picture and the fact that the second picture does not show the top of the iPhone has me thinking fake.

also i would love to see a front mount camera. i would video call people all the time. it would be a plus for when i call my deaf friends, we could just sync back and forth. instead of using tty services, some operators are jerks on tty. also front mount camera ftw when i go out of town from my wife.

And thats where he messed up. At first glance you assume it should look like a mirror image like the picture shows.
If were to turn off your iPhone screen now and hold your iPhone up in front of you as he does in the picture with your left hand, then you would see a mirror image reflection that would look like his picture.
However, put yourself in the vantage point of the camera. The camera is facing his body. If he was holding the camera with his left hand as the picture would indicate, then the camera would see his arm going from the right hand side of the screen to the left. But his picture doesnt, it shows his arm angle going from left to right.
Try it by holding your iPhone in your left hand but turn it around so the back of the phone and the camera are facing you. It'll be tricky, put now snap a pic and turn the screen around and tell me what you see. If you hold it with your left hand then your arm will appear to go from the right to the left.
Regardless though, the picture shows him clearly holding the iPhone in his left hand and well as holding the Nokia in his left hand.
Check with your iSight and report back to me. It would make sense to me if you're looking at the image of yourself. I tried it but maybe I'm not putting enough thought into it.
We're all missing the biggest part missing from the first image...no earpiece at all. None. Even if it's higher up on the device like some suspect.
