looks like an ipod touch v2.

also i would love to see a front mount camera. i would video call people all the time. it would be a plus for when i call my deaf friends, we could just sync back and forth. instead of using tty services, some operators are jerks on tty. also front mount camera ftw when i go out of town from my wife.

You would probably need to be in a WiFi area, because streaming over the cell network would drop the FPS im sure meaning if you were signing it could be very choppy and hard to detect what is going on.

Better yet.

Disregard everything in the picture and only look at the image on the iPhone screen and tell me which hand you think is holding the Nokia.

Once you determine that, look at the image as a whole and disregard what you see on the iPhone screen and tell me which hand is holding the iPhone.

Somehow he is holding both the Nokia and the iPhone in his left hand at the same time.

i didnt notice i put sync. lol. yea i figure that about the fps dropping. when i go out of town the places i say have wifi. also most of the people i talk to have wifi. so i would have a lot of use out of it. if anything it would be a fun novelty to play with from time to time. kinda like sims 3(play with it time to time). lol

Maybe he has two left hands? Thats about as likely as this kid actually having the next gen iPhone isn't it?

If you look at the original leaked photo picture -- and you see the last picture taken was a big and orange.

Then look at his picture - which is big and green.

Looks like he took the bottom of the leaked photo picture, changed the color of the last picture taken, and put in his own picture in the screen.

well the info on the photo says photo booth. so he is holding it with his right hand. i really dont see what it matters. we all know its fake if it was real he would be posting a video because he has a isight cam.

Assuming it does what iSight cameras do (mirrors it), the picture makes sense. Looking at a cam without it mirrored seems weird because well.. humans are used to looking in mirrors.

Clearly holding the iPhone with his left hand.

Clearly holding the Nokia cellphone with his left hand with his right arm down and extended outward.

Regardless of how iSight works, the picture shows what it shows.

Somehow both phones are in his LEFT hand at the same time

Let's be real, guys.

We DON'T know what is real and what isn't. I'm not saying this kid has it, but i'm not saying he doesn't. There were 100 people on the forums last year discrediting the dude with the plastic back on his MBP and a couple days later.... We all ate crow. Let's just ride it out and be happy we're kept in the dark. Isn't it better that way?

Ok, here's an image of me holding my wallet in the same manner as the Nokia in the image. I used iChat to get the quick shot.
This is in my right hand like the Nokia should be.

See how that makes sense to me now? If it acts as the iSight does in iChat it'll work that way.

But like I said, it still is fake to me for other reasons.

Does iSight reverse the image it takes?

Because I just hand a friend snap this picture of me:

1) I am holding my iPhone in my left hand as his picture shows, but I turned it around so you can see what the camera sees. Essentially making it a front facing camera; the lens is aimed toward my body.

2) I am holding a battery charger in my right hand to simulate the Nokia.

3) Look at the image on the screen because this is what the camera sees and displays.

LOL

that second pic makes it SO clear that this is just a first gen iPod touch.

the top isnt showing, its got the same exact black bezel, the smaller home button. and it's clear that you just took the leaked photos from macrumors and uploaded them.

https://www.macrumors.com/2009/04/0...-compass-voice-control-and-auto-focus-camera/

the little square in the bottom left in that post is the same as it is in the OPs first picture.

what is the freaking point of trying to trick people? do you think it makes you seem cool? That it makes people think you're special?

it just shows me that you have no life honestly...

I've thoroughly confused myself, but if this is the phone he used to take the picture:

Wouldn't that have to be in his right hand to get the orientation shown on the iPhone screen? (mic at the bottom, going longways into the palm)

I don't believe this is real, the whole shaky/blurry images, cut off phone puts enough doubt in it for me just trying to figure out the image on screen.

Let me try...

Ok, here is a picture of me in the same manner as the original picture taken in photobooth... (Mirrored)

photo3b.jpg

Then with EXACTLY the same position (same arms) with my iPod Touch, taken from another camera... (not mirrored like front facing cams)

Think about it, it makes sense.
