I have the Rhinoshield on my 7+ and am waiting for the X version to show up on Amazon to place my order. It’s by far the most durable, most protective bumper out there IMO...all while maintaining a fairly low profile. The new material they are now using is supposed to allow the bumper to be even thinner than it is while maintaining the durability and protection, so I’m pretty excited. (I know I sound like a friggin’ infomercial, I swear I’m just a happy unpaid customer!)
[doublepost=1509508286][/doublepost]Heere’s some pics of the Patchwork bumper where the buttons are...it’s not quite as flimsy as I first thought, but you can see daylight between the buttons and the case...not sure how durable their material is and whether it will hold up. I may be pleasantly surprised. Overall, it’s a nice bumper, the outer shell is more rigid and the inner is more rubbery, and if I hadn't already had a year with a Rhinoshield under my belt, I may try it, but the Rhinoshield looks brand new after several decent drops, so I gotta go with it to protect my $1000+ toy.

Gone for this too, certainly until I can get a Moment lens case. What colour did you go for? I've ordered a black X, so went for the black - but i'm not sure if I should have gone silver..
 
I preordered a ThanoTech K11 silver bumper in early October. The last I heard they were going to ship the silver bumpers on 11/1 and space gray bumpers on 11/8. Anyone that preordered, did you receive shipping notification yet? I have not received anything yet.
 
There's something about the K11 bumper that just looks better - maybe it's just their pictures of it or something haha. Just can't see paying that much for a "bumper" really. I may opt-in for one of the Amazon knockoffs though. I change my case regularly so I like having a few options. :D

I had the Utomic edges (I called them jelly beans) on my iPhone 7 Plus for 8 months. We all know how slippery the aluminum iPhones are, especially without case. I have dropped them with the edges many, many times. It always sound bad but my phone survived every drops, even I was surprised.
One corner fell off during my trip to Taiwan, maybe the high humidity there has something to do with it. I contacted them and they ship the replacements to Taiwan(all 4 corners). I personally highly recommend the product because of the protection plus the service quality.

I went with black as well. Should look good.

No. It has a cut out for where the cellular/wi-fi receiver is.

UPDATE: Just got the case in the mail. It's perfect. Seems to be well made and is very light. There are also "corner" lips that keep the phones screen and camera from touching.

I approve!

Same here. Has some heft and feels like it can actually protect the corners/sides from drops.

The durability looks solid but I'm skeptical that their bumper will look good on iPhone X.

There’s nothing on the back when using a rhinoshield Crashguard bumper sobwiteless chsrging will have no impact. And as far as looks go, that’s putely subjective. If you don’t like the looks of the rhinoshield on other devices then you won’t like it on the X.

Install was easy-peasy and fit is perfect. The aluminum feels nice but it makes the phone a bit too wide for my liking. Would love a thinner version of this if possible.
 
FYI, per Rhinoshield, Amazon should have the Crashguard bumpers for the X in a week or two. So I assume that means Rhinoshield will be shipping to those that preordered directly from them sooner.

This looks nicer than the ThanoTech in one aspect - less visible TPU around the outside. Not a fan of the ribbed sections in grey TPU.

But would want to see more impressions - does it stay securely on, give good protection etc.

Also it’s a real shame they don’t do a stainless steel option

I did the Thano Tech (the 7 Plus version) very uncomfortable to hold. The transistion from the metal to TPU is abrupt and sharp. Otherwise, a nice case.

I had a crashguard before the redesign. Nice bumper but at the time it was hard to take off and huge! Seems at least the size has been improved.

I see what you mean, although the transition from metal to TPC doesn’t appear abrupt and sharp in pics. It looks like they made some improvements, so we shall see. Mine is scheduled to be delivered on Saturday. I’ll report back…

I ordered a CrashGuard for my 7 a while back. It felt like a wide a** tire and returned it right away. I’m not sure if they redesigned it for the X, but there is a new product, the Mod, which is a tad slimmer than the CrashGuard. I’m not really feeling the Mod though.

I agree with the Mod. It looks nice, but doesn’t match the aesthetics of the phone. It’s no “classy” enough I guess? I hate to say that but it’s the closest description to how I feel about it.
