What the "The Verge" guy brought up is also very disturbing about face id, that someone can just point the phone at you and it's already unlocked :D
why does that guy have your phone in the first place? but it is true this can have privacy issues for example if police takes your phone and point it to your face to unlock your phone .. i guess you have to close your eyes in that case or wear sunglasses. I think next year they find a way to implement touch id in the glass .. then you will have hopefully face id and touch id in tandem .. that would be extremely secure :)

The glass back is going to be a finger and palm-print magnet. But you'll have it in a case, right? :D

So yeah, when you consider the yearly cost increase, it's not as huge. Still pricey, but that's Apple.

I just don't understand the logic some people have that $2/month is not as huge as $24/year. Somehow $1/day in added cost for something is nothing but $3652 (which you'll have if you throw a dollar in a box every day for 10 years instead of adding that extra cost) is serious money.

On the first face unlock try it failed on stage for Craig - not worth it to me. I think I'll wait and let them get that fingerprint scanner integrated into the display on a future generation.

In the mean time pick up an 8 and enjoy saving a couple of hundred dollars...

As many have said here, it didn't fail for Craig, that phone had been rebooted so the first time you use it, you have to type in your passcode (just like touch-id now), so it did what it was supposed to do.

here is a movie being watched.. no notch. This is from TomsGuide.com iphoneX.jpeg

Again, everyone wanted it to look like this:

Instead we get a hindrance on screen ****ing come on.. this is your anniversary phone. It would've been flawless that way.

If I recall correctly, this is actually how it looked during the demo when they had the Music app open. Makes me wonder if they couldn't decide which way to go themselves.

That said, the real sin is that the notch covers up video in landscape mode.

Still not tempted by iPhone "Notch" @ parity with USA $999 = UK £999 with exchange rate currently at £1.00 = $1.33
price should be £752.44p NOT £999.00

A grand for a phone, you've gotta be kidding.
Its even worse here. 1330€
That's about 1600$

The last paragraph baffles me! "...starting at $999 for the 64GB version and rising to $1,149 for the 256GB version." Why on earth introduce the 256GB version if it is $150 more expensive?! I don't need 256 GB of storage, but I do need 128 GB. Apple's logic is absolutely convoluted here! Keep the 128GB if you can charge only $100 more for it. Jeez!
