I had same issue - woke up this morning and nothing from Apple. Went back into the app and was able to place order with 5-6 week ship time. Went to ATT and upgraded same line got a 64 space grey with ship date of 11/2.

Marvelous. Apparently Citizens didn’t think I could afford another IUP. Order did not go through. I should’ve bought it outright and changed to payment plan if needed.

Getting it in Launch Day would’ve been great, but I’m gifting my 8 Plus to my daughter for Christmas, so as long as I receive it before then, I’m good...I think...

May try the Apple Store on Launch Day if needed.

Not sure. But I got to my desk (6:35am ET) and Apple had Nov 3 pickup windows for Space grey 256gb at 5th Ave. So I placed one, Citizens was fine this time and boom - iPhone at 8am on Launch Day. I'm stoked. Used to wait outside that store drunk all night for onsales

I totally agree with that. I expected mine after Xmas, and it’s been hyped into the stratosphere.

But we’re putting a lot of faith in rumours and “analysts”.

I wonder it’s simply that it’s a very expensive phone, and consequently not nearly as many people are biting - which could be construed as a misjudgment of the market, or a flop, admittedly.

Ordered thru VWZ app. For me it went live at 2:57AM ET. Got my confirmation at exactly 3:00AM! Got a silver 256gb with 11/3 delivery! I tried using the Apple app but it didn’t go live for me until about 6 minutes after preorders opened up.

Verizon really had it together this year, 2 screens and I was done! Very excited about this phone can’t wait until we all start playing with them! Good luck everyone!

After the iPhone app errored out several times, I got my pre-order done before they all sold out. My iPhone X should arrive on Friday, November 3rd. I was up at 1:50am Central time to place my order. I did the same thing last year for iPhone 7. I think getting prequalified for the upgrade on the iPhone upgrade program is what helped me get this done. The errors really had me worried though!

I don't think they care. The rest of us who did get up really early will enjoy our iPhone X. Do you base your purchasing decisions on rumors of the next iPhone? If so, how's that original iPhone working out for you?

Something is not right...

I can go to ATT’s website, select any configuration, it has a ship date of November 02 - 10. How is that possible ? Something does not add up. If I would have to guess I would trust ATT here.

I got in through the app. At around 3:04 AM, got all the way to end (silver, 256, att, iPhone program) and citizens crapped out and I got one of those “your phone is reserved” notices

Tried again, but shipping slipped 2-3 weeks, but I still went through it and just bought it out right...

Lol now I’m wondering if I should call ATT’s bluff and do another order with them... and cancel the order with the longest ship date...

Also curious to see, what kind of ship dates this reservation will get me ? I did get the email acknowledging I have a reserved phone. Any ideas if we can get more info on these reservations ?
