Make sure if your like me and keep all 3 credit reports frozen, you unfreeze them in time otherwise you’ll have a issue and not able to get approved

Or you could just wait and unfreeze on preorder day. It would be more convenient to do it all at once.

My opinion has nothing to do with wanting to get ahead of you ordering. 🙄😛
 
Anyone know what time they open up the pre approval? Almost 8am on the east coast and nothing yet on the app

I found it odd that the email came out from Apple @ 3:26AM EST for the 8 for pre approval yet it's 8:34AM EST here and still nothing.
 
I was just on apple support chat to see if new IUP users could get preapproved before preorder. They gave me a number to call for Citizens One. I contacted Citizens One a few minutes ago and was told that the preapproval starts today at 3:00pm Eastern. He also stated that this preapproval would be for existing IUP as well as new IUP.

That's what the Citizens One rep said. I asked twice just to be sure. If I can't get preapproved my next option will be BestBuy and I am not sure how their preorders go. In the past I have always preordered from Verizon and always receive the phone on launch day. Anyone know if BestBuy has a good track record for preorder and receive phone on launch day?

My feeling as well. The Citizens One rep gave me a little bit of hope though. May have to contact Citizens One to get the preapproval since the Apple Store wants you to choose a phone in the process of signing up for IUP.

Seems like Apple would want to allow new IUP to get preapproved, otherwise they will lose a lot of customers that wont risk taking the time to get approved during preorder.
