Are there any skins that cover the back and the edges of the X? I only find the ones covering the back...

Edit. Found Colorware...

Just ran to the AT&T Store and picked up the Pure Tempered Glass. Install was a breeze and the fit is perfect for me. The application guide worked but wonders to get it aligned nicely.

Cost was $40 but I work for AT&T and got Jr half off so it was worth the $20 imo because I’ve tried a few off amazon and they have horrible alignment.

I’m pretty sure every tempered glass screen protector is identical except for ones like the belkin. Just pay the least amount possible. They are all 0.33mm thick or more. Belkin is 0.21. I wish there was another option that was thin like belkin but cheaper

This one’s a little bit cheaper than Belkin and even thinner at 0.15mm with lifetime replacements. Doesn’t appear to have cutouts for the notch though, so not sure if that’s a dealbreaker.

I had a omoton glass screen protector but absolutely hated how it decreased touch sensitivity! It was advertised as 0,33mm but it was 0,5mm, i measured it! Never again screen protectors that are larger then 0,33mm.

I now bought the orzly screen protector thats apparantly around 0,2mm. I hope this will improve the touch sensitivity.

i bought an ANKER omg its amazing! it have case that you put on top so you don't mess up aligning it! its great.

Re Baseus “3D” protector - do not order.

I’ve had it for less than 12 hours and dust and specks are already trapped under the “windows” for the sensors and camera.

Will get a Belkin installed in an Apple store instead.

Reactions: Smacky and poppe
Question - will the Belkin Invisishield (installed by Apple) screw up the iPhones oleophobic coating if I eventually remove it in the future?

Has anyone use the Maxboost Tempered Glass for the X? Have some coming in today and they seem highly rated on amazon.
Yes on both of my X right now. Works fine. The tip is to make sure you install it from TOP to bottom. Meaning push the glass all the way up to the top of the frame and it lines up perfectly

Use a hair dryer and apply pressure to the top right to get rid of those bubbles

When a protector says case friendly I worry. I want a full coverage glass that I can still use an otterbox symmetry case with. My 7+ was perfect with the GD Smith glass but I haven’t seen them offering an X glass yet. Does anyone specifically have the combo I want, full coverage that works with symmetry (not clear and yes they are different).. no gaps between case and glass?

So, I installed today the Maxboost screen protector (https://amazon.com/gp/product/B073DLZWX7/). It installs easily, and accurately, but, there's a rainbow-effect coloration along the edges. Never had this with other iPhones / screen protectors before. I saw a review on the Spigen one also reporting the same issue. Is this a problem with installing it?

Many of these screen protectors have very bad review ratings at FakeSpot.com.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I went ahead and ordered an imos 3d it has full adhesive, its expensive but should do the job. I would love to get an apple leather case but the cut out at the bottom scares me too much

Awesome! Looking forward to your update on how that works out.

Yeah the bottom cutout is a little too “generous” which led to the bottom of my 7 Plus wearing quicker than the rest of the phone. The leather is good though.

got the same one as you and i only see the rainbow effect when wearing polarized sunglasses? but you are right only around the edges.. did u install it perfectly if not aligned right u might see that effect more due to the edge of the glass not being rounded off
