hi - kinda ergant..
can anyone confirm what 3d screen protector goes well with Cudabe's Sheath on the X?

So, got the iCarez last night. Excellent protector. No bubbles. Easy install. Adhesive all around even above the ear piece. It is not true edge to edge. There is about 2mm of glass edge exposed. Works great with a case as there is no lifting. If installed straight, the transition at the edge is smooth. I really like it with a minimalist clear case. You can't tell the protector is even on the phone. Surface is smooth and the oleophobic coating is the best I have seen on a protector.

I had the G-Color before. It did do full edge to edge, but there was less/no adhesive around the sensors as has been mentioned. I was able to get good adhesion after much work, but it cracked above the speaker hole even in a case after a couple of days. I attribute this to no adhesive and enough play to allow movement and cracking. They did send a replacement, but no amount of work would allow me to get total adhesion on a bottom corner.

The iCarez is a bargain for the 2 pack on Amazon.....

don't you prefer the notch more dedicated holes type of design?
i feel i can't trust the speaker only cut out.

Much prefer the iCareZ with no dedicated holes in the black border. You can't tell it is on the phone. The iCarezZ is thinner also, and i swear the touch screen is more responsive than with the G-Color.

But i read here somewhere that the one speaker whole gathers dust and generally might interfere with the truedepth? Not sure.
Why do you prefer the speaker hole?

There appears to be adhesive around the speaker hole on the iCareZ. So, I think any dust that gets in there will blow out easy and not get in-front of the other sensors in the notch.

Ok..
But why the dislike of the dedicated notch holes? Seems more ‘safe’ no?

On the G-Color, and many others I have seen, they are not real holes, just openings in the black layer painted on the glass.
I prefer only the one opening for dust to possibly enter.
I can say that all functions (front camper, face ID, etc) have no issue with the glass covering.

To me it seems like more holes for dust to collect in.

Ok. Now i get it. I’m convinced.
Now, just to make sure these can work with Cudabe Sheath.. nor sure about that.

I posted this pic of the G-color before, but marked it up to clarify things for everyone. The darker black boarder that the black arrows are pointing to is where the adhesive layer ends. The bronze colored areas are actually the black edge/boarders of the protector. Only the speaker cutout (in white) has glass cut. All the other circles don’t have the black etching but STILL have glass. Since the adhesive doesn’t cover all those openings or the edge of the protector, dust can come up under the top lip/edge and collect in the whole notch area...potentially blocking the camera and other sensors.

Could someone post a pic of the back of the icarez E2E protector?

Most have a few mm's of glass exposed. I'm looking for true e2e so the edge of the protector can sit flush against the edge of a case.

it seems the case with most of these here.. the Icarez looks ok.

icarez 2 pack e2e glass, it does have adhesive surrounding the earpiece.

Do you see that thin white line at the top of the protector? That part's not sticking to the actual phone. I got some iCarez ones in yesterday and had the same issue. I tested it out to see if the whoole top portion would stick by taking it off and sticking it on the flat portion of the screen and the whole top adhered. So Im guessing iCarez doesnt have the fitment right on the top edge.

EDIT: Also try pressing on that little trip of glass at the top. You should be able to see that you can actually make it disappear if you press it down.

I am new to this thread. Can someone help me out? I want a screen protector that covers the entire front glass, with cut outs for the sensors and camera. I currently have a full screen protector, but only has ear piece cut out and thus it accumulates dust in the camera/sensors. A link would be helpful. Thanks!

I recently installed the Spigen Glas.tr Slim and was easy to install. To installed perfectly aligned you must have the screen turned on while you do this. Since this is a case friendly, I did not had to remove the case when I had to install it. It was still in it's case, mind you it's a Spigen Hybrid Armor. So it was very easy to align.

icarez - red box or white box? On their website the white 'luxury' seems to be thinner and says 3D glass not 2.5d for the red 'pro' protectors?

Red box fits well its 2.5D. White box did not adhere and others have had the same issue. Seemed to be miscut. White box is curved edge 3D but I just though the boarder was thicker. BTW...Apple Leather case works fine with this protector.
