Can anyone recommend a good glass or clear back protector? Pictures if you have them. Thanks!

my gdsmith ice max came in today...pretty happy with it so far. some tiny bubbles which i hope will go away

the box and packaging were no where near as nice as the gdsmith that came with my iPhone 7.

quality is comparable to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 version

Can some post an actual link for the correct iblason and icarez?

I'm lost in the mix with the red box white box fiasco lol.

Notch area? How was it?

It’s full coverage so no issues. It’s definitely wide enough. It might be slightly intruding into the screen but I can’t tell.

A small bubble is forming on the bottom right corner though. Hopefully it goes away.

Nice... Mine should arrive in any time soon. Bubbles seems like always the problem for GDsmith. But they do go away.

I also received my G.D.SMITH yesterday and there’s no adhesive on the notch area just like other brands. There were also air bubbles on mines on all 4 corners as if it didn’t fit.

I know this has probably already been asked and answered, but I can't find it in this thread. Does the installation/removal of a glass screen protector damage the oleophobic coating of the original iPhone glass? In the past, I have typically used cases with built-in screen protectors which is basically plastic that just lays against the phone while attached to the case. The X will be the first time I have used a glass screen protector and I am going with the iCarez since it seems to be getting the most positive reviews here. I just want to be sure that the original screen isn't damaged in case I decide to be brave and go without a screen protector further down the road.

Does anyone notice faceid working less with the icarez protector? I swear it’s working substantially less since I installed mine.

Pretty happy with the Aerb I received and have been using for 2.5 weeks now. Had great reviews as well. Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0755D799G

iCarez had some bad reviews so wanted to stay away. Not messing with covering up the notch, too many people already reporting lint, debris or faceID issues (can't imagine how bad that would get after 3-6 months)

The bad reviews come from people who have no clue what they are doing or got a faulty one. There are no issues with icarez

That's good to hear because my I phone x and icarez screen protectors come tomorrow. I am so excited.

This is bad....

I also ordered and applied the icarez, red box 2 pack, and I have to say, it is definitely worth it for the price.
I did have to lift it once and reapply due to alignment, but it really is unnoticeable. I had to remove it though.
Unfortunately I had to return the phone. Other issue that I posted on another thread.

For what it's worth, I got the i-Blason (i-Blason iPhone X Screen Protector, Premium 3D Curved Edge Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Apple iPhone X [1-Pack]) which I really enjoyed, and also the 2-pack RED BOX iCarez. I did not get any bubbles or fit issues with either screen protector.

I tried the i-Blason first and thought it was terrific. Nothing like the Orzly (which I HATED - terrible oleophobic coating, ugly look at the top - yucko). I also had no fit issues. I use a case from Sonix which fits all the way around. The screen protector is invisible and does not get raised by the case.

After scraping it up a little with moving it in and out of my jeans, leaning it against earrings, whatnot, I wanted to give the iCarez a try - also based on the RAVES. (iCarez [Full Coverage Tempered Glass] Screen Protector for iPhone X (Case Friendly) Highest Quality Easy Install [2 Pack 0.3MM 9H 2.5D] with Lifetime Replacement Warranty - Retail Packaging)

I think both of these - either of these - are VERY good screen protectors. MAYBE the iCarez edges out the i-Blason on value? I also think it would highly depend upon what case you are using. The iCarez is MUCH flatter at the edges and I feel like that could be an annoyance if the bottom was exposed (it would be to me).

So here are some pics - please don't laugh - I was doing my best to take pics with an iPad Pro...Yeah. Well - that's what I had and it's a bit unwieldy to say the least. But maybe it helps folks a little. The first 5 are the i-Blason. The next 4 are iCarez.

The thing about the dust... Doesn't Apple themselves "advertise" water & dust resistance as one of the very features of this phone? I hate dust as much as the next person - so I wipe it down, don't use the protectors with the huge cutouts, etc. But I don't think anything can get trapped in there...I thought that was part of the appeal.

Anyway. Hope this was helpful!
