iPhone X Screen Protectors/Skins [MERGED]

For what it's worth, I got the i-Blason (i-Blason iPhone X Screen Protector, Premium 3D Curved Edge Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Apple iPhone X [1-Pack]) which I really enjoyed, and also the 2-pack RED BOX iCarez. I did not get any bubbles or fit issues with either screen protector.

I tried the i-Blason first and thought it was terrific. Nothing like the Orzly (which I HATED - terrible oleophobic coating, ugly look at the top - yucko). I also had no fit issues. I use a case from Sonix which fits all the way around. The screen protector is invisible and does not get raised by the case.

After scraping it up a little with moving it in and out of my jeans, leaning it against earrings, whatnot, I wanted to give the iCarez a try - also based on the RAVES. (iCarez [Full Coverage Tempered Glass] Screen Protector for iPhone X (Case Friendly) Highest Quality Easy Install [2 Pack 0.3MM 9H 2.5D] with Lifetime Replacement Warranty - Retail Packaging)

I think both of these - either of these - are VERY good screen protectors. MAYBE the iCarez edges out the i-Blason on value? I also think it would highly depend upon what case you are using. The iCarez is MUCH flatter at the edges and I feel like that could be an annoyance if the bottom was exposed (it would be to me).

So here are some pics - please don't laugh - I was doing my best to take pics with an iPad Pro...Yeah. Well - that's what I had and it's a bit unwieldy to say the least. But maybe it helps folks a little. The first 5 are the i-Blason. The next 4 are iCarez.

The thing about the dust... Doesn't Apple themselves "advertise" water & dust resistance as one of the very features of this phone? I hate dust as much as the next person - so I wipe it down, don't use the protectors with the huge cutouts, etc. But I don't think anything can get trapped in there...I thought that was part of the appeal.

Neither of these are 3D. They do not curve over the edge of the phone glass. ICarez wins because it only has one speaker opening at the top. iBlason has two for some reason I cannot explain.

I don’t think anyone suggested that either was anything other than the 2.5D that they are advertised as. But if the 1 opening vs 2 makes the big difference then so be it. That’s a pretty minor difference...

So far so good with the icarez. It installed perfectly and it is not at all noticable on the phone. Face Id is working perfectly as well. So far I'm very pleased with this screen protector.

Got the 2.5D from imos with the cutout and so far I love it. Can’t even notice the cutout, which is funny considering that was the reason I didn’t buy it (hated the cut out) in the first place and went with the 3D at first. If you wanna step up from the icarez I recommend the imos 3D. Otherwise get the icarez.

iBlason clearly states 3D.
 
I got iCarez based on recs and it looks amazing on. No issues with FaceID at all, no bubbles, great fit.

Got bubbles from the i-Blason and it had a scratch on it when I opened it. I'll be returning it and getting the iCarez.

I love the look of the Moshi AirFoil. It seems almost edge to edge and leaves a cutout for the notch so there's going to be no dust trapped in the speaker cutout which you'll get with the i-Blason and iCarez.

I initially got bubbles too but it went away after a day by itself. Be patient.
 
I have the iCarez coming and just wondering if anyone has the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and can confirm the case is compatible (i.e. does not lift the screen protector)? I'm thinking of ordering the case for when I need more protection.

Hi mate, are u using any apple leather case? Is it compatible with the 3D & 2.5D?
 
Are there any issues with full cover glass protectors? Because they always make the glass bezels a bit thicker than the phones, one's so the phone's bezels end up being slightly covered, and sometimes it has sensitivity problems like it wouldn't detect your finger on the first time when swiping up from the edges.

Hey there I don’t have the Apple leather case. I usually use spigen or elementcase. The 2.5 is compatible for sure. The 3D gets lifted by the spigen case tho. I’m assuming the Apple leather case might have the same effect. But according to past years they could be compatible.

I have the spigen ultra hybrid s and icarez glass screen protector. No lifting. Its almost perfect actually. Theres very little room between the case and screen protector = prevents dust from getting in.

Thanks for the info yea used to have imos 3D for iPhone 6 Plus with apple leather case and it was perfectly fitted.

I just ordered this. I already have Zagg installed and kind of hesitant to remove it.

How does the smoothness of Zagg compare to the iCarez? Zagg is silky smooth glass.
 
Has anyone with the icarez noticed faceib degradation? I feel like I can’t be the only one. I’ve tried multiple and still seem to be having problems.

I have noticed it too! But I was thinking it was just because of the fact that mine isnt alligned properly... a little bit too much to the left

Are you two using the 2.5D with a cutout, 3D full screen cover?
