I fitted the esr screen protector to my Xs. It’s excellent covers to the Face ID sensors without affecting performance.

I'm trying to decide if I need one for my new XS. My iPhone history goes 4S/5/5S/6/6S, then held onto that for 3 years and now the XS.

The only phone I've had issues with was the 6S which picked up one nick in the glass and a couple of small scratches. Then again, I did have it for three years.

With the XS, the display is so great (and so large) that I'm more worried about scratching the glass. After 3 days everything is fine, but wondering if it's worth it or not to get a screen protector.

Glass screen protectors with curved edges are very subtle. They melt into the screen & are crystal clear. You won't even notice it's on.

Anybody else order a zagg from Best Buy and now they are like "oh yeah this isn't going to be here in time...we will cancel it if it's not here by October 20th".

Now what to do?!

I ordered online to take advantage of the buy 3 cell phone accessories, get 25% off. Was going to have it shipped but decided to do store pickup instead. Have you tried going in?

I have decided that I want the Spigen EZ Fit full cover protector (in my case for the XR), but it's not available in Sweden. Spigen does have a storefront on Amazon UK (where I usually buy stuff not available here), but even though it's fulfilled by Amazon, they don't ship outside of the UK. Same with Amazon DE, FR and US.

Spigen does have an Ebay storefront for UK and they do ship here, but no screen protectors there. Their US storefront does have screen protectors, but the shipping is US $46 for a $12.99 product so no thanks.

Anyone know of any good place that sells these genuine Spigen EZ Fit and ship to other EU countries?

Ok I put the icarez 3D on my max with apple silicone case fitment is perfect and looks great!

However, is anyone experiencing degradation in response on the touch screen? I’ve noticed my “taps” need to be with a little more force than before.

Guys, if I buy a screen protector edge to edge (3D) should I buy one that leaves open the area of the ambient light sensor (location on top of the speaker grill) or it doesn't matter and I can just buy one that covers it?
Cheers

Are you sure it's not just the ultra slippery coating that doesn't detect your tap since your finger may be gliding without you realising?

It's happening to me with my Belkin, when I go to tap to wake. But I'm used to it, & I love it for the rest of the phone usage.

I purchased an iPhone XS Max on release day, have bought 3 tempered glass screen protectors:
Protector 1: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07G21B9BP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Protector 2: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GZQBVPC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Protector 3: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07H3777ZS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Esentially, I have spent 10+ mins cleaning it, every dust particle but every single one theres a big air bubble ONLY in the top right hand corner and when I put my finger over it, it goes but comes back after 30 seconds, not sure what/why it is happening... screen issue or what?

Please can someone advise me or had any similar issues?

I was worried that my cases might have issues with 3D screen protectors, but I decided to give iCarez a shot since a bunch of people seemed to be vouching for them online.

In retrospect I should have jumped the gun and picked this up months ago. The fit is perfect, and this was by far the easiest glass screen protector install I've ever done. Maybe I got lucky, but the screen protector pretty much fell into place when using the included guiding tray.

I can definitely tell it's thicker than when I've used Belkin or Maxboost in the past, but edge and notch coverage more than makes up for it in my opinion.

Case is a Caudabe Sheath. iCarez 3D also worked with a Totallee case I had.
[doublepost=1539132480][/doublepost]I just love rubbing my finger across the notch area and not feeling the edge of screen protector anymore... it's the little things in life that keep me going ❤️

Does it cover the notch area also and if so then is it just like a flat sheet of glass with a cutout for earpiece only?

Also, does anyone knows a screen protector that has cutout for both the speaker grill and the camera? (my friend has a screen protector that covers the camera and the quality got affected..)

I would recommend the Whitestone Dome screen protector. It does not cover the notch area. Out of all the video reviews, this is the one that stood out. I’ve installed 2 and both came out flawless. It takes about 10 min to install. Watch the YouTube videos on it.

Xs Max checking in. Started with cheap amazon protectors that covered the notch area but it definitely affected Face ID and made the resolution look like crap. Then I went with a Zagg hybrid which was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Obviously a bad batch because the actual protector was warped so bad it wouldn’t stick down, and the notch cut out was sharp and jagged. I ended up with the Walmart Black Web $9.88 special. Corning makes the glass for them and I have always had amazing experience with these protectors. My wife’s 8+ my old 6S+ and now my max. The alignment process is always spot on and the clarity is amazing. I will never buy another brand as long as they keep making these. I can’t believe company’s are charging people $40+ dollars on protectors. SMH

Does it affect the front camera picture quality or FaceID?
Yes, that exactly what it is. It goes pretty far to the edges though, so if you in doubt that a case would work with it you'd be better off with the 2.5D version

Thank you for the review. Did you find them in store, as they don't seem to be available online? Thanks!

How close to the feel of the original screen do the recent glass protectors come? And is there a standout winner in that group of products?

I have the iCarez 3D and it's awesome and feels exactly like the actual screen. The only "issue" that I can see is that lint/fine threads are getting stuck in the speaker grille area. I'm thinking it's due to the small amount of exposed adhesive on the screen protector around the grille. It's difficult to get those out, but that is literally the only quibble I have so far after 2 weeks. Anyone else seeing the threads/lint? Additionally, as far as touch goes, I did notice that when I first put it on, I was having minor issues with touches not registering, but it may not have fully been cured yet (a few hours after install). If it was an issue then, it's not any longer as I have no real issues to report other than the linting/threads around the ear piece.
