Good news. Expecting barn burner 1Q financial results now. Apple is able to hit all cylinders this season -- iPhone, AW, Mac, Services.
So much bad math in this thread, and for no reason. It says on Apple's website that the VAT on the base iPhone is £167, so the pre-tax price £832.

Ordered mine on 11/9 from AT&T online. Supposed to ship 11/30-12/7 I did the Next Year upgrade program it was only $8 or so more so that I can upgrade next year if I decide to do so.Did my part to help the Apple faithful and other beta testers here in NA. Every little bit helps!

I‘m really curious to know if demand already eased due to the high price point or Apple simply ramped up production massively.
cdma sucks bro and versions shutting down CDMA in 2019. gsm is the way to go, but really 600 mhz and 5G are the way to goI know. I don’t want to be stuck with gsm only iPhone X.
We already got screwed along with our friends with option to try to switch to Verizon cause we stuck with gsm only iPhone 7 Plus intel modem. That’s cause I got it at launch sept 2016 full price and Apple released Qualcomm universal iPhone iPhone 7 3-4 weeks later.
Pissed me off.
If I’m paying full price. I want universal iPhone model. I understand if I’m doing installments to be stuck with gsm model. But full price purchase should be Qualcomm gsm/cdma iPhone X model
US prices don't include tax/vat/whatever you want to call it. If you exclude the tax from the price in other countries, you'll see that you end up with roughly the same price as in the US.
So does that mean it should be available on Apple’s Employees Purchase Program soon..?
The supply for pickup at the grand central store sold out in 5 minutes today. They go live at 6am.
I reserved one at Apple fifth avenue and there was a line around the block.
Not sure which store you went to but it doesn’t sound like it was one of the popular ones.
Nobody should confuse increased supply of iPhone X with lack of consumer demand.
The story here is very simple - Apple is getting more iPhone X into the hands of delighted customers than analysts predicted.
“If you’ve got Verizon/Sprint” are the operative words there. Not everyone does.If you've got Verizon/Sprint, then just buy the one available now at full price. It'll be the same phone as the SIM-Free model. The Verizon/Sprint ones will be cross compatible with GSM.

I am growing confused about the different "models" of the iPhone X. I am an AT&T customer and have no particular desire to change carriers. What options are available to me for buying a iPhone X, and how are they different? I was planning on just ordering one from them. Bad idea?
