And I'm in the opposite boat.. I got the Space Gray and regretted I didn't get silver.. #firstworldproblems
I did order a silver one but that wont be here until the end of Nov early Dec.. my SG will be here Friday
Are you in NYC? What carrier? If Verizon, want to do a one for one trade? I believe the Verizon store will do that for us
Light scuffing on stainless steel can happen regardless. The reviewer only had the phone for a few days and I'm sure he didn't rough it up as evidenced in the pictures he attached.

I hope they sleep soundly tonight and think about what they have done. You have angered me but have not succeeded as your attempts to get a free £1000 + iPhone will fail. I'm thinking of doing the same but at the store in Manhasset.. I figure I'll have better chances there if I get there at like 2am I might at least take a drive past there. I do have a silver one ordered through AT&T which is scheduled to ship by nov 30th..

That sucks, this is why I use 2FA as much as possible. What makes you think it was someone from the forum though? I mean with the popularity of the device, It could have been anyone. I'm sure hackers are trying hard to hack accounts and do exactly what they did to you.

All I see are fingerprints on the video, whew. Besides, he only unboxed the phone and it's less probable he wiped it to scratch it (like what will happen to a silver one...hehe).
Friday is almost here so we'll all be amazed on how more beautiful the grey X is in person!

I have both colors on order.
Will go to the Apple Store tomorrow to test and then decide which one to keep
Already spoke to the shop in Hong Kong where I go to put transparent 3M film to avoid scratches. They said they will be glad to help me put the 3M film. That will be amazing. I will put that with with either color model I choose to keep.
The Silver iPhone X reminds me of the first iPhone. It's is really the 10th Anniversary phone. While grey model is also nice but doesn't have the special attraction that the Silver model gives. It is more of a subtle model.
Initially I will use the Apple Case but later after the new phone feel is worn down, I will start to use Skins from Dbrand. That is why the transparent 3M film will come in handy. It will also help with the Apple Case because the bottom of the phone will not be protected.
I want to keep the Silver one but will Check both colors at the store tomorrow.

I’m sure SG is gorgeous up close but it looks very iphone 7 so far. Silver looks like a new ass iPhone and every bit of the form and finish are visible from afar. I stayed up till 3am for everyone at work to see I have early adopter thrill in my blood thanks. Show and tell is addicting.
I've got a 64gb Space Grey and initially I was starting to regret it after seeing more of the silver/white one but I think that's just because all these sites that have had there's early all seem to have been given the silver one so I was seeing more of it. Then I saw that video above with the space grey one and was really glad again that it was the one I ordered.
I can understand both sides though, the silver one can look more new and fresh to some which is what I was starting to think but the space grey looks more solid and almost more mature. Am personally not sure if the chrome sides on the silver just aid the look by having it look more fresh or take away from it by looking a bit cheap... I like the white back for sure, just not sure on the actual silver.

Nothing was hacked. Sadly Dave gave out sensitive info about his delivery. All someone had to do on the delivery page was change the delivery date or address. That's why I am telling people it's not worth giving your tracking numbers or anything.
But the good news is that they'd need the card he paid with to actually collect the item.
Silver model doesn't look cheap. It's actually the opposite.
Every year I have been using a black or Grey iPhone because it was the only one with black color front and now we have another color with the black front. So glad it's the 10th Anniversary iPhone. Kind of brings back memories of the first iPhone.
May be next year Apple should release Bother color and give customer more choices.
Yeah maybe not! I'm not saying it definitely does I'm just saying I wasn't sure but that uncertainty just further makes me happy I got the space grey. Don't get me wrong I still think it's nice, like I said after I saw all the videos of the silver one I thought I made the wrong choice! All before finally seeing another video of the space grey.
C’mon man, I’m willing to assume you just want something different this time around, but calling the grey one “cheap” is just over the top...j/k.

I think he meant the Silver looks the opposite of cheap; not that the Space Grey looks cheap?
