The lower resolution is actually the feature I love the most with the XR. I cant really tell any difference, but it gives batterylife a massive boost, so I really hope they dont change that.I hope for 1080p screen this time
I always buy a transparent gel case. They are really cheap. You can see the phone in all its beauty. You can grip the phone without fear of dropping it. The back is completely protected, the front is a bit protected because the case extends over the glass. So it's safe to lay the phone face down, and it will survive a drop unless you drop it face down on rough concrete (even a marble floor should be fine).Hey that's exactly my situation! I have had all the iPhones, never had case, dropped them several times each, all fine, except the 6 that once shattered. #TeamNoCase
Since there’s not much else than the extra camera lens to differentiate this year’s iPhone 11/11 Max, more colors would make sense and would probably be a big factor in people’s decision to purchase one.
Clear case.I just don't get all the color schemes. If you value your iDevice, the first thing you do after unwrapping it is put a shatter-proof case on it, thereby hiding all that glorious "color" (and hopefully the Apple logo on the back, too). Unless, of course, you get your jollies with scratches and cracked screens.
The glass backed phones need a case IMO, due to the costs involved in replacing.I've used iPhones for over 10 years, I only ever had trouble with the iPhone 6 (whose screen I had replace once due to it getting shattered in an accidental drop). No other repairs ever needed, and I never used a case. Buying five cases might have easily cost me more than it cost me to replace the screen once.
So, no, you don't have buy a case if you value your iOS device. You just have to treat it right.
You misread the articleKeep that innovation coming Apple! New Colors! Amazing.
Color finish of White, Blue, Yellow and Coral XR are really subpar. They lacks depth and richness.
I'd rather it cost $500 or less rather than have any special set of colors.
I think you'll find most of the opposition to having colour choices on these boards are just underhanded jabs at Tim Cook for.. reasons.
Anyone on these boards probably knows I don't think he's a great CEO. But attacking him over colour choices is just low. We know why they're doing it, and its stinks
Anyone speaking ill on colour choices ignores the realtiy that
Apple has a long history of colour choices.
Mr Cook is not likely seriously involved in the colour choice, other than likely a final approval over "yes or NO' for specific colours (and probably based more on costs, than colours themselves)
Bring on more colours. Bring on the whole rainbow.
I'll still by black phones myself, cause that MY thing, but, I love seeing all the colourful devices in the wild
I doubt they’d get rid of blue. It seems to be one of the more popular colors.
Only if the frequency of the user damaging the glass back is higher than maybe once every five years. Incidentally, the glass back also makes the phone less slippery (compared to phones with an aluminium back), thus reducing the frequency of drops at the same time as it increases the cost that a 'fatal' drop incurs. The glass backed phones need a case IMO, due to the costs involved in replacing.
AVOCADO GREEN! That is what the people want. Naysayers to have their heads lopped off at the
I think that maybe you’re being a little over sensitive on Apple’s behalf. You misread the articleSee post #56 above.
