Done. But, I received a fraud alert message on my MasterCard, even though I paid with Apple Pay. After I answered the alert I got a message to go ahead and reprocess, but I didn't get anything from Apple saying there was a problem - just email saying they'd let me know when items are on the way, and expect delivery on 9/21.
I should have called Citibank earlier today to let them know I'd be making a big purchase. I hope this doesn't screw up my delivery date!
Oh, in case you are curious, I got the iPhone XS in gold, 512GB, and the stainless watch, 44mm, with GPS and cellular, with Milanese loop band. I actually broke a VERY long tradition of black/gray phones. I've had every iPhone since the 3GS and I always went with the darkest color. I can't believe I ordered gold! And this will be my first watch in the larger size - I've had every version in the smaller size. My daughter is going to inherit a lot of bands...

Easiest pre-order experience EVER. Ordered 256GB Space Grey Xs Max Sim-Free with Forrest Green and Lavender Gray cases via Apple Store app. iPhone will deliver the 21st and the cases will deliver the 19th! Received order email confirmation at 3:04am. Goodnight and good luck everyone!
Same, and I was the laziest I’ve ever been too: I didn’t pre-set my preferences like I normally do, I didn’t even pay off my last $47 in advance, and it still only took a couple of minutes to complete. Waiting for the e-mail, but this was the least stressful I can ever remember an order process!
I don’t know what it means, but I’m happy with it.
I ordered the silver 512GB XS, BTW.
Took a few minutes for things to come back up for me. Got the XS pretty quickly on iPhone Upgrade. Was trying to get three different browsers on my Mac to pull up the store but they wouldn't. Finally got that cleared out on my iPhone and moved on to buying the Apple Watch 40mm AL for my wife (her first and she wanted a cheaper one) and 44mm SS for myself with the storm loop band and blue sport band and completed checkout around 12:10 PDT and her watch was delivering next Friday but my 44mm SS was already delayed to October 5-12! Hopefully that ends up pushing sooner like my iPhone X order did last year. I genuinely did not think the Apple Watch was going to be delayed that quickly. Wow.
Yes same here in Illinois (2:01 am plus and I was on). Order was done in about 5 seconds as well quite fast. About 5 minutes later I also received my confirmation email and order number so all is well for this new phone to arrive next Friday the 21st.

Anyone else get no email and just a “Your upgrade is pending” message after your order? I see no recent orders and if I check upgrade eligibility I get that.
Yep I had my order in 1 after the hour (2:01 am here in Illinois) and this mail 5 minutes later.Just got email confirmation.
I can’t remember do they charge us today or when it ships? With the X launch there was a delay I remember.
I just ordered two. One iPhone XS Max Space Grey and one XS Max Gold.
I used the iOS Apple Store App and ApplePay, and I got one order in at 12:04 and other at 12:05.
Confirmation emails came immediately as well.
I have owned every single iPhone, with each one ordered/bought on release day, and the 11th time was the charm. This was the easiest purchase I have yet had.
