You have Qualcomm modem ... Only iPhone Xs and Xs max are affected
That doesn't make sense. Choppy video playback has nothing to do with the LTE/WiFi modem in the phone, nor does the UI stutter.

But since someone here mentioned that the problem lies in the OLED technology itself, I'm asking if people who got an X experience the afore-mentioned issues. The lagging as a whole.

I don’t see the lagging or stuttering with my X.

It's the same story. I have since the launch of the iPhone X and the same XS both models are doing stuttering on inactivity. The difference is that X has a slower animation of UI, which seems smoother. The problem that is experienced is confirmed by Apple unofficially, and the same reason is not clearly indicated, do not provide this information. IOS 13 is aimed at OLED screens, we will see ... Until then, it seems to me that nothing more will do at the level of IOS 12.

A1865 is the Qualcomm model (X). Either way, that has nothing to do with stutter.

A1865: has a Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 modem (MDM9655), mainly in the CDMA variant in the United States, Australia, China, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
A1902: occurs exclusively in Japan and uses the Snapdragon X16 chip (MDM9655).
A1901: uses the Intel XMM 7480 LTE (GSM) modem in the United States, Canada, Europe, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Argentina, Russia and Mexico.

Let me be right. Do not let the modem version have anything to do with this ....

Hello, I would like someone to comment something more detailed how beta 5 works. I'm still with beta 3 that seems decent ...

12.3 was my best experience so far. Not liking the newest beta . Really don’t understand why an improvement and then it all goes backwards. An improvement indicates a resolution but unfortunately UI is not a priority. Really starting to wish I never upgraded.

All apps are struggling to scroll and panning is an utter disaster. Trying to live with it is an understatement considering all my previous phones never had this problem. Resurrect Steve please !

When I make every effort to document any suggestions that could be implemented, after beta 3 instead of focusing on the way forward, we have gone back 2 steps (beta5)

12.3 beta 3 was the best example of how it should be. The best reference of our expectations and the starting point of work in this direction. Meanwhile, something completely opposite happens, despite assurances, Something incomprehensible ....

Stay on beta 3. The next two are compromised and have no clue on what they have improved other than more stuttering and laggy UI. Utterly bollocks !

My friend has an X and I see the issue but not as much in my XS

I’m not seeing this on my X.
See it in my friends and two co workers ! Had it on my XR and now third replacement XS ?

from all the views in my opinion beta 6 presents itself best. Let everything go in this direction. Even YouTube works noticeably smoother. I do not want to praise that it does not start to get worse again. Let it all have a happy end ...

Still can’t get over the fact that it is even smoother when your battery is half way.
