iPod iPod activation

I got an iPod 5th gen from someone. I restarted it. I don't know the original owners apple I.D. and have no way of getting in contact with them. I really need to know how to bypass the activation security.
Please if anybody can help I am desperate.

You can't bypass iCloud lock, the iPod's a paperweight.

Give the stolen iPod back to its owner. If you didn't steal it, the person who gave it to you did.

It's called a friggin pawn shop. My friend got it from there and then she restated I told her I would take a look at it see if I could fix it. Not stolen.
