iPod Video Photo - a Fake

It's the same image, and probably the same guy.
If you watch carefully in the part where he drags the black screen across to the left, there's a tiny bit of black above the iPod to the left side that drags with it, and that same mark appears in the final photo (in the movie and the one we saw Thursday).

After seeing that video. I cant help but laugh. I wanted to think it was real, at first I thought it was real. As time went on I started to get doubts so I stopped reading the page. Thats just so funny, whoever did that had the macworld going CRAZY. I thought at first I would be mad after seeing the video, but its just HILARIOUS.
I haven't gotten the video to load yet (thanks for more mirrors!), but why are the markings different on the tape, as iMeowbot noted in the other thread?

That does not look like it's documenting the actual creation of the original photo to me.
Anyway, if it's fake it was fun but it's good to have it out of the way before Tuesday

here's an idea
how about we have all the photoshop GuRus out there create some "fantasy i/vPods" I really enjoyed that video and I would love to see what else poeple can come up with.

Hmm... that's a good catch. It COULD be someone trying to disprove the photo by looking like they made the image themselves.
I imagine that it's the same guy, but he recreated the creation of the image when not working on the computer.longofest said:

When you look at the part where he moves the blackness over to the left side of the iPod in Photoshop, there's a little black mark thing above the iPod that moves with it too.
That same mark is on the left side.
I imagine he made it, but then he wanted to make this video so he redid the creation of the iPod, redoing the stuff not on the computer.
I can't believe how many of you thought that was real. I remember reading "I know it's real and you will all see feb 28th". Good laugh.
And you wonder why he did it? No, it's not because he has "too much time on his hands", it's because look at all the attention it received. Too bad he didn't put his websites url on it

That was an awesome little video....cool stuff, shame its fake though it looked kinda cool...
