Tyvek, easily found at the post office or any construction site.TiMacLover said:If you compare this image with the 5G iPod leak image both iPods are laying on the same material which I believe in package wrapping.
Just my two cents. With the new image that has surfaced I think it's realy, and I think I know how to spend my tax return.

For what it's worth. The only significant "convergent devices" on the market today are the Windows powered smartphones. This seems like it could be a more media centric variant of those. If the size reports are correct (4x8x1.5 ish) it's far too big for many things, but fills an interesting niche between a full video iPod/PSP and a full tablet PC.

But, I would ****ing be pissed if this origami thing happens because it is something I would want and it's NON APPLE.

As seen on Macshrine. But this is so huge it looks more like a tablet.

Apple capitalizes "Port." It's AirPort equipped, not Airport equipped.
Fake.

You'd need a mighty big pocket to fit this baby in.![]()

Move on, forget about it.

Yes-- especially that bit on top-- that is either a pencil sharpener or a bottle openerCoMpX said:Am I missing something? Because that Origami thing has got to be the ugliest device I have ever seen. Anyone else agree?

ChrisH3677 said:I found that guys testing on some points quite convincing - especially the irregular white rectangles in the top right and bottom left of the test pattern, which both appeared to contain rectangles - looking like they were cut from the same image.
But, taking his gamma test a bit further, if you push the gamma higher still, you get a very interesting result. Some parts of the image lag significantly behind the rest in how they brighten. And unexpectedly so. Some blacks like the chord take a while to disappear, but the red rectangle in particular, behaves oddly.
If you take an untouched photo and try this, most areas of the image will disappear at the same time, the blackest blacks being the last to go.
IF you scribble something on with the paintbrush tool, then (unless the color you choose is sampled from the image), the scribble will be the last thing to disappear - even if it's a blue or red say.
This is what clearly happens with the black scribble covering the date in the lower right, but why do others areas of the image behave the same? Most likely because they are painted on.
And of course, why do those three rectangles (Black, red and black) display so much noise and none of the others do? Again, probably because they've been drawn in.
Notice too how the 7 on the sticker fades but the Chinese writing doesn't? Again, indicating the lettering may have been added in an image editor.
