The iPod will never surrender, never die. Now if they could do an updated limited edition iPod classic that would be great.

Unless they upgrade these ipods to decent mobile mediaplayer memory space at decent prices, there's really no point in iPods anymore.

Crud. I was hoping for an iPod Touch Plus size with Touch ID and updated internals. Looks like at least two of those things aren't happening.

I preferred the 5th gen better because of the camera and speaker.the current nano is hideous, my favorite is 4th gen

Given the new emphasis on music streaming, I would be suspicious that any new iPods won't necessarily have much storage, just keeping the existing.

You and me both. I'll be giving this iPod a pass and looking for a used iPhone 6 Plus. I want the larger screen but not the iPad Mini which I already own.

I have this feeling that both the iPod touch and iPod nano may get larger local memory storage. A 128 GB iPod touch or a 32 GB iPod nano? Count me in! 😀

I still think the 1st gen was the best design.
I absolutely loved the coloring of the 4th gen nano (and look). However, I do prefer the metallic coloring of the 5th gen, which is what I have. Looking back, I wish I would have gotten the purple or blue because my yellow looks horrible in certain lighting...the current nano is hideous, my favorite is 4th gen

People forget things like stores like Target that use these as handheld computers. They certainly don't need to be iPhones!

I would simply LOVE to see an iPod nano with iOS / App support - or at least a web browser and Apple Music + WiFi support. Heck. An iPod nano + 3G CDMA/HSPA+ would be amazing. Always on streaming in my car for $15/month for cellular + Apple Music
