A very interesting story here. After reading it, read the comments. One would wonder, who actually leaked that story to the authors. And, also wonder whether one should sympathise Israel at all.
Here’s the thing: Nobody really knows who said what at an ultra-high classified meeting in the White House. But if the account is correct, we can see that, besides a general or two, Trump’s team was 100% filled with his incompetent political appointees.

Netanyahu helped convince Bush to invade Iraq, too. But the U.S. has its own intelligence agency and it is Trump’s fault for deciding to ignore what his own experts had long before told him about a war with Iran.

It took America trillions and over ten years to finish the Iraq War, and Iraq is a much smaller nation than Iran.

History matters.
Europeans dislike Israel, yet they often turn a blind eye to Israeli atrocities, offering only muted official disapproval. Europe does not want Israel to collapse, even if that entails many Palestinian lives lost — it will simply look the other way. Imagine Israel failing and becoming unsustainable: where would the Jewish population go? Back to Europe. Europeans fear that above all; they do not want another Hitler to emerge.
So Israel commits “atrocities.”

What is the word you use to describe the October 7 attack on Israel? What word describes the rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians?

I think he is just admitting that Europe is an anti-semitic cesspool. This hatred has always existed and important to consider in putting European hypocrisy in perspective. It is the same Europe that has prioritized opening its borders to radical Islam while obsessively focusing on Israel's so-called "atrocities" in a war of self-defense -- while virtually ignoring well publicized civilian massacres in Iran and Syria. Europe regularly neglects it responsibilites to disarm terrorist groups in both Lebanon (UNIFIL) and Gaza. All this, while speaking out against a pricipled Aemircan position (albeit poorly executed) to do something about these Islamic terrorist groups across the world. Maybe Paris and London need to experience their own 9/11 so they can wake up.

No, it took lots of Iraqi lives, and those lives matter, not the invaders. The American trillions don't matter either.
I understand. You believe that lives only matter when they are Arab lives. But Jewish and American lives do not matter. Thank you for clarifying your position.

No, you don't. America and the NATO were the invaders then, and now it was America and Israel, who attacked Iran first and murdered the 170+ little girls. They were 7 to 12 years old. Think about that. When you see little children, imagine them.

Meanwhile Iran was nominated to chair the UN Committee for the protection of women's rights, human rights, and the prevention of terrorism. Iran was supported by the United Kingdom, Spain, and France. European support for America ... not so much. Europe is falling in front of our eyes without a shot fired. 😥😢

I notice that you’ve very much pivoted from discussing the actual bombing in Iran. I would think it’s because you know it’s been a total disaster, achieved none of it’s goals (whatever you claim them to be, because the administration didn’t know), and just made everything a lot worse.

People here were telling you that’s what would happen. Perhaps a little humility is in order, and a recognition that those same people were wiser than you.

Stable genius is re-declaring war on Iran and will now block the blockade, and attack any ships who previously paid for passage. Say hello to $8 / gallon gas. 🤣

No other country will be involved in de-blocking the Straits of Hormuz. Where would the "the United States navy, the Finest in the World" would get fuel to run its thrown-out-5th-Fleet? All the way from the US? Through the Pacific, through the Indian Ocean? How would the Bush come through the Suez Canal on to Red Sea? Would it also get a "laundry fire?"

When a guy write in ALL capitals, you know who he is? 😉

"I have also instructed our Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in International Waters that has paid a toll to Iran."

"the United States Navy, the Finest in the World" will start wars with Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Phillipines and all other countries, and even NATO countries, in the high seas! Everyone would be quite happy to pay that "toll" and get the oil, and LNG. The poor chap!

So now, Trump is going to blockade the blockade. I assume he will also put Iran on "double secret prohibition". 🙄

Edit: And for those nations that attempt to transit the Strait, will the US fire upon them? How about China and India? How about our allies? Well, I guess we don't have those anymore.
