I have to date, zero Bluetooth issues but it may be due to the set up and the way I use Bluetooth.

Bluetooth is only for airpods and Sennheiser headset and nothing more.
Three ports are used on the Mini - USBC to DP for Monitor, USB to speakers, and TB to CalDigit Elements hub that has drives connected.

So if you use Bluetooth keyboard, you may have issue?

Let's hope those plexiglass top rumors are true for a future Mini.

I've always ended up having some type of wireless issues on every Mini I've had.

I hope they optimize the next design of it for great wireless reception and no interference.

Not sure if it is true. I read somewhere that the mini of the past few generations always have bluetooth/wifi issues because of the antenna's placement in the same design that has been used for 10 years. Can anybody confirm this?

Heck, I'd go for a BT antenna mast if it would help! :p

My M1 MacMini is using the Logitech receiver dongle for an MX 3 mouse. But my new MX Mini keyboard is using the regular BT connection. It isn't having connection issues, but it is a tad slower to connect from an awakened computer than my full size MX keyboard that did use the Logitech receiver.

If I was brave I'd pull the Logitech receiver and see how the MX 3 mouse does without it. I'd get another port back.

As others have reported BT on the MacMini can be problematic. I purchased the M1 MacMini upon release. I do not know if any software upgrades have improved BT connectivity, Apple is sometimes very secretive about fixes.

I should have been more accurate. I have had my keyboard and touchpad on Bluetooth with no problem. However, my monitor has a nice USB bus that can charge them both and allows the keyboard to be used with another device attached to my monitor. So yes, for me at least, there was no problem. In fact, I tested my speakers that can run on Bluetooth as well and they worked well (save for typical video/audio synch challenge). My speaker remain connected via USB now.

I am using an Apple mouse on my Mac Mini M1 an have very often a lagging mouse. I am not sure if it is only a hardware problem. No matter how close I put the Mac Mini to the mouse, the lagging stays.
The only solution is restarting the computer. Then the mouse works as it should. No lagging.
For me this indicates it is (also) a software problem; the position of the antenna / the hardware has not changed.

The lagging appears when I have many applications open, especially 'heavy' ones like Xcode.
It really is a shame that a top brand like Apple does not fix this long ongoing problem.

Edit: I've read a tip about changing a setting in the General System Preferences: Switch off the 'Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices'.
Up until now I have not had any mouse lags...

Edit 2: Had some lagging for about a minute or so, then the mouse went back to normal. But far less lagging then before the switching off.

I got my M1 back in November and have had no Bluetooth issues with either my MX Keys Keyboard, Trackpad or Ear Fun ear buds.
My M1 Mini is blind to my MX keyboard (and my Magic Mouse) whenever I reboot it ... I need to use a wired mouse to enter my password, and also to fire up the BT control panel and reconnect the BT keyboard and mouse. I rarely have to restart the Mini, so it's not something that makes me crazy, but it is annoying.

I still have issues occasionally with my magic keyboard w/ touch ID. Sometimes it wont respond at all and I have to plug it into the mac to re-establish connection. Kind of a pain, but I've learned to live with it. Also, I don't use WiFi since my router is near my desk. I use the ethernet cable so I keep wifi turned off. I did try Wifi once and it did interfere with the bluetooth somewhat.

My microwave will sometimes interfere with my bluetooth connection.

Only on the M1 Mini, not on my M1 Macbook Air.

Unusable with a keyboard. I have a Satechi keyboard and I have to use it plugged in. However, via Bluetooth it works flawlessly with my Alienware Aurora desktop just a few feet away from the Mini M1.

I have a recent M1 Mini and would say no the BT issues are not resolved. I have a Logitech MX keys and the crazy thing is that it will not work initially to log in to the Mini upon start up. I have to log in with an Apple wireless keyboard that constantly is connecting and disconnecting from the Mini. I have dis associated both and re installed multiple times with no sucess. Now once I log in with the Apple keyboard the MX works flawlessly. Pretty disappointing honestly but this is my second M1 so I should not be supprised.

M1 mini with Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2, No BT issues.

They've been working flawlessly on BT for almost a year

my mac mini i5 in 2012-19 had Blue tooth problems, while the same mini with a l7 is flawless in 2022.
go figure

My one month new Mac mini M1 with Monterey 12,2 had the first 2 weeks not any problem with the magic keyboard and touchpad, but from this weekend?? it will not connect, bleu-tooth panel will not see them no matter what I do. Have to put a wired keyboard and usb mouse to work with the Mac mini M1. The problem is not the keyboard/touchpad, they work proper with a Imac 21,5 mid 2011. Turned off the bleu-tooth and even wifi because I have no problems with using wired keyboard/usb mouse and lan internet. But i'm still disappointed that the product as the Mac mini M1 on Bluetooth very poor quality delivers in 2022!!!

I have had no issues at all with BT on my M1 so far and had it since launch. Did have some issues on my last model from 2018, very intermittent. Never got to the bottom of it but gave it to a family member and they have never had an issue.

It's not solved at all

It's a weird problem that is super sensitive to specific setup locations as well as potential interference around it.

Some have no issues with it - some have nothing but issues with it

Yeah, for me at least, it has been solved now after so long through a Bluetooth Dongle , but that may not be a proper solution. As we all know the Bluetooth issues of Mac and it’s not as expected from Apple in any way.
However, using dongle isn’t a bad idea, this is like a instant solution. A few days back, when I was in trouble with M1 BT I Picked up Hideez Dongle which is 4.0 BLE technologies.

Now I'm using this dongle for keyboard, Mouse, speakers, and Headphone. And I'd say this dongle performing pretty well. The dongle is suitable with Windows and all versions of macOS. Also this can be connected with Smartphone, and any external Bluetooth device in high range. In an open place, BT range can reach up to 65ft.

If you are unfamiliar with using dongles, just follow the Hideez set up instructions. It's really easy to use.

I’ve had my M1 Mac Mini since last Friday and so far I have had no issues with Bluetooth. I use the Apple Magic Keyboard Touch ID and the Magic Mouse. No disconnects.
A few weeks ago I bought an M1 iMac 16gb/512gb with the Magic keyboard and mouse. A couple of times the mouse disconnected and one time the keyboard disconnected. I returned the iMac for these and other reasons and am now considering the M1 Mac Mini, but I see it also has problems. :(

If trying to get a machine with “rock solid Bluetooth”, don’t walk, but RUN away from the Mac Mini

With my setup the M1 Mini is extremely close to my mouse and keyboard. It’s about 18 Inches from my keyboard and about 10 inches from my mouse. It may be the proximity that is making the difference for me.

Problems here too: While magic keyboard and magic mouse are ok, the airpods pro reach is abysmal - up to 3m is ok, after that stuttering audio. I am angry.
