Exactly sooner or later this "late" order is going to catch up on apple and people would hate it. I was fine with the iPhone late orders... But this one is different. It's catching up to them and it's not cool anymore.

Like I said, :apple: could have handled everything much better. Thought of a better way to roll everything out. Not sure how, but that is why they pay ppl smarter than me to figure out these things.

And this...

very nice! I have the deep sea as my daily driver and it's going to be hard to replace it with an AW.... Going to give it a week to see, maybe I will find occasions when I can use the AW.

The only reason for me not to like it is disappointment. That's good enough. But I'm just saying, in general I've seen a lot of threads with negative input about the watch. Hmmmm.

Because people like to whinge on internets forum and rarely like to praise.... All forums are like that, more whinging than praising.

Well now I feel stupid for offering any insight into this thread. I smell a troll.

His going to continue until it arrives, at that stage the Apple watch will be the best thing ever . At least your feedback will be useful to others , I appreciated it.

Wow, that's the daftest thing I've heard. You're confident Apple could have done it better, but have no suggestions as to how. Surely if they could have done it better, they would have?

I agree what the hell is an iPad?? I have a 17 inch Mac book pro NEVER use--I have a mini iPad NEVER use---I use my 27 inch Mac desktop to surf the net only when want a bigger screen ---mostly use my 6 plus for everything even typing this

Love my iPad Air 2, use it every single night while lying in bed to read a book or browse the web. Using my new MacBook right now to type this while watching the Clippers game. Don't feel like sitting at my desk while my iMac batch processes hundreds of photos, couch is more comfortable anyways :) Everyone has different wants and needs though.

I'm sure the first few days you're on the watch a lot, which is not really what it's meant for when you have a larger screen to do everything the watch can but better.

But as time goes by I think you'll realize that being able to glance on the fly, messages, emails, calls, etc., is really what the watch is about. Fitness is also another big plus for it.

And then there's also the actual watch/jewelry aspect which is something people seem to forget.

I've bought watches in the same price range that tell time and look cool to me. The fact the Apple Watch does both and beyond is a no brainer for a guy like me.

If those things don't matter, then a smart watch is not for you. Simple as that.

Personally, I still want to try it out. I never was 100% about keeping it. After reading real user reports maybe I'm at 98% now. If it does what I need it to do great. If not back it goes. That way alway my plan.

You said you were planning to sell yours when you got it so why do you care? There have already been a couple people talking about returning it.

I'm not returning mine, it is great for my uses.

I love the iPad mini... It's perfect for my daily surfing. I bring it everywhere! Oh the plus too haha

I agree man.

I'm still very much enjoying mine. Sure it's not without its little issues but these will be ironed out with software updates. The potential the watch has is huge. I wouldn't get rid of mine, I'm already finding some things significantly more convenient on the watch than the phone.

Maybe it will get better. hopefully v2 would be smoother.

Well, my two cents:

1. I only notice that with apps that have to download a lot of information from the phone - otherwise I haven't had that experience.
2. I was at 80% at 8am Saturday and finished with 25% at 1am. I used it quite a bit but not real intensive task.
3. Pricey- yes. But for a nice watch at a jewler I'm looking at $350-400. A couple hundred more for the added features isn't horrible IMO. Now if I'm buy a cheap digital watch, yes it's outrageous in comparison.

You make very good points.

1. I do notice is being slower if my iPhone is in my bedroom and I am downstairs. It's a big home so maybe the distance is the issue?
2. My battery drains about 20-25% after a workout. I find myself at 25-30% at night. I rarely use the watch though except for the workout features.
3. I'm not a Watch guy. I just thought the Apple Watch would change things.

Does it drain your iPhone faster because of Bluetooth?

Well I for a fact could care lesser and lesser about the watch anymore day by day. Sure I was excited about the watch and Lord knows yall know that in here... lulz. but then I realized there's the iPhone 6S plus and iPad mini 4 I could look forward to this year and it's right around the corner. iPhone still trumps everything.

Anyways, I'm starting to see more and more people losing interest with the watch or they are finding out the reality of the use or lack thereof the watch. Surely there's buyers remorse going on right now. Who's planning to return their watches? Discuss.

I love mine. It's great. My husband loves his.

We now have kids who want them, too. LOL.

It's a great device, as long as your expectations are aligned with reality.

That said, your device isn't late until after 5/8/15, OP.

:D

I'm pretty excited for my watch. Got an app ready to submit but I want to see if it will actually work first. I'm sorry you're annoyed at Apple for not doing something the didn't commit to.

Ohh! I love the Deep Sea! I don't think the AW will ever replace it either.

The AW took some money from a Pam purchase!!

Yup agreed 100%.

How much are submariners running these days?

The prices keep on rising! I remember back in 1990, I was looking for a Sub and they were $2,100. 6 years later they were up to $5,000 and they ended up at $6,100 before the new ceramic models came out. The new ceramic is around $7,500.

The ceramic GMT is a little more.

I quite like that retro look.

Thanks, that GMT was difficult to find.
