Threads like this are why Apple users get a bad rep.
MacRumors readers must have the shortest attention spans on the planet. Bored with the Watch already?? Christ, what did you expect it to do?
Apple should include a bottle of Ritalin for people like that!
I'm not gonna go craigslist because I want to be able to return it and show apple how much I hated their botch release.
Hate this launch date... I hope more people would start returning their stupid late watches.
PROCESSING hellllllllllllllll. I hate this watch now. I didn't even get it yet.
I'm not settling for anything less than a Friday delivery. Better believe that.
Had mine for 3 days. Nice watch. Light. Very comfortable. Battery life is ok, but like most I am probably using it more than usual these first few days. It definitely took a bit of learning, compared to most Apple products. I am a tech guy, and worry that many folks will be very confused getting it setup.
Yes, I think it is a bit slow. Definitely lacking a lot of granularity of setup options. Watch apps are pretty scarce right now. But this is just launch day+3, and most developers have not had it long enough to do much optimization.
I think it not the best apple launch of a new product in the last 10+ years. I just don't think Steve would have let things like this happen.
I am still being patient, and see what the future brings. Both in terms of apps, and future watch versions.
I am somewhat underwhelmed, too. I waited impatiently and got mine on launch day. Since then I started to feel a disappointment at the sluggishness when it come to doing something as simple as....wait for it.......looking a the time. I'll keep it in the hope that a things improve, mostly in the app ecosystem. The watch is a new platform for everyone and its not just about writing a bug-free app, it's also about creating functions that are truly useful. That has been a hit or miss so far, IMO.

Oh I dunno...be able to read and reply to emails (can't even read most mine, told me to use my iPhone. WTF?) interact on FB, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat. See more than just the score of a game?...it doesn't do most of these and what it does, it doesn't do very well at all. Its basically a rather cheap digital watch with the ability to show you things you can't reply to and it costs WAY too much money for what its capable of. Sport should have started at $199 and Watch at $349. Would have been somewhat worth it then.
Just look up the original posters previous posts. He comes across as a whiny teenager that cannot seem to have a post without "lulz" or other lame immature internet lingo. Here's just a small sample:

I could go on and on but come on. Grow up a bit before posting and flaming like mad. You look foolish.
Good points I agree.
That's a valid point, unless your into tech, the learning curve and overall user experience is not something I can see the average user being interested in.
Like all other wearables it suffers from the same issues, though it's in a class of its own in build quality.
I think the more "techie" people will be the ones who struggle with it, since they'll try to do more with it. I think the average user will spend a day or so figuring out the basics, and then will be quite comfortable with their normal usage pattern. Once charging it nightly becomes a routine, like charging a phone is for many people, using the watch will be second nature.
I'm giving one as a Mother's Day gift in 2 weeks. "Unfortunately" it's arriving tomorrow, so I might give it a week early rather than leave my mother just a one-day return period, but I doubt she'll actually return it. It will be interesting to see how quickly she picks up on it.
I usually have my iPhone plugged in at home and the office so I cannot comment on the impact to iPhone battery.
Not me. I like it so much, I've been wishing I had bought the stainless model instead, but I think waiting till version 2 or 3 will be the better plan. Ideally, I'd really like to get two years out of a watch face.
I've loaded some photos and a playlist onto mine. The photos (they're tiny, right?) look amazing. I can't believe I took them with a phone. I just keep finding more things to play with. I'm probably easily amused. Handoff works wonderfully, too. So far, i really haven't found anything I haven't liked about mine.
It's just a tantrum for those that didn't get it on day one.
Yeah, still not sold the average user has any interest in wearables. The most simple solution is the good old fashioned watch.
Very nice present. Keep us posted how she reacts to it. I doubt my mother would be interested, she does not even own a mobile phone.
Indeed. Also, a lot of people are getting it with the false impression that this is going to be an iPhone on your wrist. Take the guy that said about Instagram above. Totally misses the point of the device.
