ARHHHHHHHH I give up!!!!

I will buy Moto X+1 or Samsung (ARGH) S5. kkkkkk :D :D

I go sleep now and so wake me up when it's all over...

LOL

There's no option to buy AT&T version full price online. That's why so many people are interested in the T-Mobile version.

I will buy the ATT 6+ on the 12 month Next plan, pay it off in a few days and they will unlock it for me. What's the problem??

Huge favor

Could someone one here do everyone else a huge favor and, within 14 days of buying the T-Mobile iPhone, try it out with an international SIM and report back with the results? This would be a HUGE help so me (and possibly others) can return the phone if it doesn't work out.

I'm Brazilian and would like buy iPhone 6 tmo but I'm afraid this model be locked and stay with "iPod lux" in my hands.

I'm going to Orlando next 19 (sept) and am with a big doubt if buy pre-order or take a risk try buy in apple retail stor

So since I'm not eligible for the 2 year pricing or an early upgrade, shouldn't the price default to full price once I put my AT&T info into the site? Or does it not work that way?

It DOES work that way. The only reason AT&T customers are interested in the T-Mobile version is if they do have an upgrade because then the phone will be locked to AT&T but these people want unlocked phones. The ONLY way you can get an at&t phone full price and unlocked (through the apple preorder) is if you currently have a contract and don't have an upgrade or early upgrade. ie. Your situation.

It's very easy to request an unlock code from Tmo since you already pay full price for it. I requested 3 codes for my old phones and tmo was gladly helped me.

Final considerations

I decided to take the risk, and in a few more hours I will be buying two Iphone 6 TMO :apple:

My thoughts: There is no such of thing as different GSM Sim cards, so, Apple representatives keep saying that will be locked in USA, BUT will immediately work with any International GSM. WHY? How the phone supposed to distinguish one SIM from another? That's Bull...

Does anyone knows the exactly time they will begin the Pre order? It will at 00:00?

The limit is really two units per person?

Hey Rodgui, I'm Brazilian too, and I also will be in Florida soon. The question is, how we are going to know if our phones are really unlocked, since we cannot test with our Brazilian Sim Card there? We will probably have to ask someone to put their Sim in our phone, or something like that. I will try to purchase a temporary Sim from any company to use the Iphone wile I'm there. Let's hope it works, or we gonna have trouble to return it.

TKS!

finally a rep who knows what they're talking about. i'm tired of all the forum goers who are taking the word of badly informed (or ones who were led to inform as such) reps who do not know that the T-Mobile phones are unlocked.

Verizon phones are unlocked (part of a deal they made with the govt. to gain approval for their LTE spectrum). The only difference from the "unlocked" phones is that the Verizon phones also have CDMA enabled. You cannot use a non-Verizon iPhone on Verizon's network. You can use a Verizon iPhone on AT&T and T-Mobile's network.

GSM is active on all iPhones, even on Sprint. However, with Sprint phones, GSM can only be used with international SIM cards.

Wait, so isn't it better to use the Verizon link instead of the T-mobile (if paying full price) on check out? Since when we if we resale, there will be more options or in case of changing carriers??

no. That is well known and not a rumor either way.

ahhh except Ive had 2 Verizon reps tell me they can accept any unlocked iphone 5 or 6. They told me by law they have to accept phones from other companies - as long as they are technically compatible and they said the iphone 6 definitely is - so if you got a true unlocked iphone from apple - Verizon can use it.

Soooo theres that.

Thanks....

#1 - Thanks to all the people with above 100 IQ's for the info, I will be buying a TMO for my AT&T prepaid.....and oh GOSH, if it doesn't work I will just print out the label and return.

#2 I really forgot how stupid people can be that have access to computers.

First post, but not my first rodeo.

Peace

No for Verizon only the Verizon iPhone will work.
If that's true, then it's very confusing that Apple chose to use the same model number of both the Verizon and T-mobile models (A1549). It's also very annoying that there's no option to buy the CDMA version without a contract using the apple pre-order website.

iPhones are cheaper in USA so Apple does not sell unlocked iPhones at the beginning to avoid scalpers in USA. They would simply buy all iPhones and send them abroad. However it is a common knowledge that tmobile iPhones bought at apple store for full price will unlock when restored with different sim inside. The question is will it work this year or has apple changed it and only tmobile can unlock those iPhones.

Also is Apple store allowed to sell Verizon iPhone 6 as device only on 19th? That would for sure be unlocked (FCC requirement).

That's what I'm thinking too. But I don't know if it's possible to buy a contract-less iphone 6 tonight on the Verizon website. Is it?
