I received my case yesterday and while I will not be keeping it, I can definitely say that this is a great case. I ordered the clear case and am very impressed with how the case can be very protective, but at the same time looking so nice. The material that it is made with is very nice, even nicer than the previous iSkin covers that I've had. It has kind of a textured silicone that adds a lot of grippiness to it. It's not hard at all to pull out of your pocket and while it does attract a little bit of lint in your pockets, it doesn't attract much at all, especially compared to other silicone cases. It also seems like it would really protect your phone. I think that if I were to drop my phone, it would survive unscathed. The case doesn't mess with the sensors on the phone, either. They act just the same as if they were naked.

Unfortunately, I will not be keeping this case because it's not dockable on the Apple 3G dock. There was a miscommunication between me and Kristian earlier in the thread which led me to believe that it would be. He thought I was talking about a different dock. I contacted Kristian about it through email and then through AIM and he resolved the problem for me and then assured me that I would be able to return it.

The customer service that iSkin exhibits is second to none. I have dealt with many online stores and I've never been so pleased with a store before. I have ordered from them in the past and I would definitely do business with them again, if only for their customer service.

If you really love the case, why not just return the 3G dock and get an apple universal dock or 3rd party one that will allow you to dock the phone with the case on it? I find it more of a struggle to find a good case that a dock it will fit in. Thanks for the review, either way.

My apple store in west nyack finally has the Iskin 3G so i wonder if they will let me try it on my iphone for size :)
Really? That's great to hear. I can't wait for the Boulder store to get them in. The online apple store doesn't seem to have them yet...

In my experience, you're allowed to open and try on any of the cases in the store. I've never had a problem doing so.

it is taking awhile to get these... I ordered mine on the 29th, and I still have "3-5 business days to ship" on my order status screen... Well technically today is 5, but I'm giving it till tomorrow to be pissed as I did order it around 2100 on the 29th... Still trying to figure out why a company will charge you and then ship it a week later

How hard is it to pull our of your pocket with this case on ? Does the case make the phone feel cheap ? also how much lint does it pick up ?

Im on the fence here so im just trying to gather as much info as possible.

I wanted a Vaja but im not sure about that either. Such a nice phone to cover with all this rubber and leather.

Maybe just a clear skin ?

i wear jeans all the time, it will try to reverse my pocket a bit but nothing horrible. if you have money in your pocket it might grab that too but i just keep it in a pocket where nothing else is. its a good case and i would deff recommend it. the clear one you cant see too much lint on.

I just got mine in Diablo Red today, and I have to say it is damn beautiful!

It feels so perfect on the phone and even with the case on, it still fits in the Marware Leather pouch clip, so I wont have to buy the extra clip that exposes the one side of the phone.

I love that the connector protection is attached to it and that it is flush. The reinforced headphone jack part is much nicer than the old one. The material feels different, but its perfect. It fits just right and it feels a lot stronger than the first gen one (if thats even possible). Overall, A++ on this case, a must have for anyone!

I ordered the iSkin Revo2 and received it a few days ago. I was unware at the time that it did not come with the RevoClip... Now I went back to the store to order one and find that it costs $9.99 but that's not the problem it is going to cost $9.99 to ship it...

Anyone know where I can get one for less shipping?

Got my case today and installed it. Looks great though I decided to wash the visor and case to remove some small fibers/dust particles that were clinging to the inside. Definitely getting another screen protector as the one it comes with isn't as good and feels cheap and reduces the responsiveness of the screen. Most probably get the Power Crystal one.

iPhone slides into the clip easily when it is facing inwards but very tight when pushing it into the clip facing outwards but hopefully it'll loosed up as time goes. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and can't wait to see how it weathers real world use.

anyone with the case on the actually phone would be awesome! I really want to see the red on a phone.

I'm wondering how long I'm going to have to patiently wait for the fuze for the 3g or if I need to break down and get the revo2 if it's going to be awhile.

Oh that's great. I ordered mine too because of the discussions earlier. I have a 3G dock now that will be useless? What a crock.

Just received my Fullbodyfilms pack! (i ran outside like a bat out of hell when the mailman pulled up, i think i might of scared him half to death, god i feel like a kid at christmas :( ). Ive had the Revo for a few days but i wanted to wait for the film so i could have it all on together. The installation was flawless and it was my first time dealing with protection film. i couldn't be happier. the Revo is simply amazing. the feel, look, and protection it gives is just unbelievable. Like many have mentioned already, the plastic screen doesn't fit too well on the back, but i probably wont be using it too often anyway. It fits great on the front though, and ill really only be using this during travel.

The port covers are fantastic, they don't feel too loose when "plugged" in. They also don't seem like they'll rip after extended use, which some were afraid of. I can still use the ringer switch/volume , sleep and the home button just as easy as before if not even easier. but not easy enough to where it will press in your pocket if you happen to bump into someone or something. This case is an A++++++ . The Revo and FBF combo in my opinion is currently the best thing out there. i recommend getting this case IMMEDIATELY! Now i wonder how the fuze2 will match up to the revo2. !

I received my Sonic Blue Revo2 yesterday. I absolutely love it. It's certainly the best case I've ever owned for the iPhone, 1st or 2nd Gen. It has a snug, perfect fit on the phone and adds relatively little bulk, even for a silicon case. I find myself using the visor much more than I had anticipated. It's so well integrated and allows me to put the phone in my pocket screen out. It picks up VERY little lint and dirt, something in common with my favorite rubber case for the previous gen, the XtremeMac Tuffwrap. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it so far and am very happy with my purchase. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Here's some pics:

I was just at the apple store buying a car charger today and saw not one iskin case. I believe Kristian said it'll be a few weeks before we start seeing them at apple.

anyone with the black iPhone will the back get scratches from the revo , i wondering cause i have the BSE back piece so wondering if i should put it on before my revo gets here

I have had my Revo2 case on my black iPhone for almost 1 week now and I feel 100% sure that this will not create any scratches.

For reference I tried the following cases before trying the Revo2 and I'll tell you, my search for the perfect case ends with the iSkin. It simply rocks!

- Agent 18 Eco Case (black)
- Switcheasy Capsule Rebel Black
- DLO Jam Jacket

And of course the best, the Revo2 Ozone. Kristian, if you are still reading these boards, THANK YOU.. the Revo2 was WELL worth the wait!!! :apple:

thanks for the fast response, yea i have the revo for the gen1 iPhone and its was fantastic i just wanted to make sure.

I ordered a clear revo2. Don't like it, and plan to return it right away. It makes the phone look cheap, and the case actually covers little edge of the screen. Can't really show the beautiful iPhone with this case on. I'm waiting for the Power Support Air Jacket. Now I'm just going naked phone.

Just received the red iskin revo2. Not sure if I am going to keep it. The plastic cover does not fit on the back of the case like the original revo. As I usually use the plastic cover when I put the phone in my purse I really enjoyed being able to store it on the back of the phone.

The screen protector is adequate but not the best. The improvements made to the port holes are great.

I'm debating about sending it back and waiting for the new fuze.

sorry guys the perks of working here...

i have more to post in the next post

After purchasing my iphone and just paying my first bill with the activation fee and upgraded data plan I can not afford to get this awesome case, If you send me a red one I promise to tell everybody what a great person you are and what a wonderful case this is, and let complete strangers make calls on my phone so that they will want one and buy a case from you. (am I getting anywhere?):)
