I have an iP6 the day it came out Sept 19. I cleared the phone sync memory settings on my 2012 Benz GL450 and that worked and connected that day.

Problem I notice now, after updating to iOS 8.0.2, after I get off a call, the head unit still shows I am "on a call". So the radio or whatever I am listening too doesnt come in.

I look at my phone and the call is off.

Solution: I have to press "radio" or "sat radio" or whatever to play music.

2008 Acura TL - BT paired for voice calls, no issues. To play music, will need the aux cable. The lightning cable is only recognized for charging. The car simply does not have the tech to play music over BT, its not specific to the phone.

2012 Infiniti G37x - BT paired for voice calls, no issues. Can play music through the USB port. This car does not have the Nav system, so unable to play music over BT. Again, specific to the vehicle, not the phone.

Both a 6 and a 6+ paired to both vehicles.

2013 Hyundia Sonata Hybrid - 5S worked fine, 6+ is a nightmare (with regard to the BT hands free calling in my car) I can listen to music just fine but taking and making calls is impossible.

I'm having the Same issue with my Wife's 2012 Santa Fe.

Hyundai Genesis... Works well.

Reset all settings on phone.
Unpair/disconnect all phones on your car...reset to factory setting (if you can).

Now try to pair your phone again.

It worked for me. I had problem at first. But now ok...both on ios8 and 802.

Are you suggesting resetting the phone to factory or the car headset?

2013 Acura ILX, iPhone 6 .... phone calls, bluetooth streaming, and usb playback work. Non-tech package.

Works fine on my 2012 Ford Edge (MyFordTouch - texts, audio and everything else works perfectly) and my wife's CX-9 also works.

Mazda hands free phone works fine. Bluetooth music controls do not. Mazda has known this for many iOS versions and basically tells you "tough luck".

2011 Mazda 3 SGT and it is not working with my 6 plus. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Maybe I'll try to contact Mazda on this matter and see if they can be of any help.
Very annoying !

Mazda will tell you to check here.

My 2013 Sonata works fine for Calls. Bluetooth audio almost always gives me.. No Media when I press it

The SYNC system in my ford works and then doesn't work. It decides if it wants to.

Bluetooth music streaming, skipping tracks and USB work in my 2014 Honda Civic LX, but I haven't tried making or taking a phone call yet.

For me, my F150 with ford sync doesn't work reliably with iPhone 6. I've reset all network connects, wiped ford sync, and can make it work but after a few hours it breaks again. The symptom is basically calls get dropped when the other party answers or if you answer an incoming call.

I think it has something to do with continuity...the multiple devices that show up under bluetooth based on your iCloud devices. When ford sync is the only paired device it works but as soon as my MBA or iPad pair up then ford sync breaks. This correlation is a little weak at the moment since I've only been trying to fix this for a couple of days now.

Search the internet shows this not to be just a ford problem. I'm curious what people here have found with hand free vehicle operation.

I've got a 2013 Focus ST, with SYNC and MyFord Touch, and it works flawlessly.

It seems most hands free vehicle systems don't work with iPhone 6

On my 2012 BMW F30.. having issues! It's most likely iOS thing. My 5S worked fine with 7.x.x but no chance with 8.x.x. I've tried updating the BMW software and deleting and reinstalling device. No chance. Have given up. I'm mega annoyed. Looking forward to seeing what the next Nexus brings to the table.. considering moving to Android. The Bluetooth functionality is a deal breaker!
