sparkley, have you noticed while we duke it out to be number 5million, a bunch of newbies are kicking our a$$! :p

The good news and the bad news

I have my first recruit! I found out last night that one of my co-workers has actually been folding for a week now after looking into what I've been talking about!!! (One of the ones who was telling me it was a virus hazard.)

The bad news, of course, is that he discovered that one of the sites he frequents has its own team, and he thought he should join that one. :(

But at least it's another folder! :)

Change his teamnumber to ours when he is not looking!

Does the DP_folding.dmg terminal program work in Tiger?
ive not had time lately to find tiger so i cant say for certain

...but the commands are pretty straightforward so i would say tentatively yes. i will know for sure by next friday. :)

one could speed up this process by giving me a torrent link :D

jeej! my first 10k points are in the bank.
Congrats to kilpajr, John_Yeoman and sparkleytone for their first 10k.

looks like stubeeef is falling behind...

;)

I put my pb on automatic, conceding to sparkley! Plus my dell laptop has been in the bag the last 2 days traveling. Good luck guys, looks like I'll be covering your six.

I generally don't like to brag...

BUT...

A daily average of 1752 currently and I'm suddenly number 2 active folder on the team with an overall rank of 16! Watch out Kahldei! It's only 14 years till I pass you...

Edit: Now it's going to take 27 years to catch up...

Reached 1000 points :). I know not 10,000 but it is still my first milestone :)

Congratulations! Everybody has to start somewhere.

What goes up must come down. As I am doing now. Down to third and no longer passing Khaldei.

G'by sparkleytone........

I just had a good day. Also...somewhere around 200 of those points should have been posted two days ago, but my eMac was having DNS issues. You'll be back :p

However, I still would like to brag that today was my first ever 1,000 point day! (24hrs ;))

Big congrats!!

I hope to have one of those some day, of course my Digital audio will STILL be working on it's current work units for the next 4 years!! :(

Congrats :) I hereby challenge you to catch back up.

I have been trying to steal, I mean barrow, a few processors, but 2 of mine are old G4 450's, they work hard to put out a simple one. Enjoyed the banter though. BTW my wife the elem music teacher, her chorus scored a superior at Carowinds in their Choral Festival! Thought you might appreciate that.

Yay for that :) Congrats to her and her students.

Now would be a good time to catch up too, because the iMac G5 in my rotation is off for a couple days. :-(

sorry, 'cone, but until khaldei and rower get their numbers back up, second place is MINE!

:)

Hey it was fun while it lasted, all of about six hours. I'm back down to number four. :( And I see you have dropped to third.

Ah well, glad to see all the battling going on between the other guys. It's been fun watching them come up the ranks since I don't move very often anymore.

Come on Stubeef! I'm rooting for you...

Well amongst roughly 10 hours of work on a paper due Monday I finally got my wife's new P4 3.0 GHz up and running with dual services running. I tried the program mentioned in another thread and found it easier to just do it manually. I am now due for a couple of WUs on Monday so my production should start climbing a bit.

After Thursday's final I'm going to start folding by hand to catch up to Dreadnought :D
